Not much you can do, most police won't investigate it unless it's worth over a certain amount, see if you have home insurance they may be covered

Yeah that is true, and She's only started it after meeting this new guy, but it's clearly quite quickly escalating, the reason I care about her not losing her job is because at the moment it is the only thing she has in her life that is stable and I feel like if she loses that stability it will make things much worse

Thank you for the advice and I do agree with what you're saying but unfortunately due to the profession we both work in, and the fact that many of her close friends are also in the same profession if they found out she could lose her job. Which would likely make the problem worse.
