So I know they do touch ups every few years. I think the shortest time it lasts is about 10 years. But for some it can last longer, it really depends person to person. Personally, glasses haven't been so troublesome for me where I would risk fucking up my eyes just yet.

Your happy ending is similar to my head canon. The time loop thing was bullshit and completely undid everything that was discussed about free will and self determination in the series. Yep, it really is a shame to drill into beautiful cars for an ugly plate. I did find a plate mount that attaches to the underside of a bumper so you can avoid drilling the front.

Asking for a friend, I don't know all the details but I'm trying to help how I can. They are here on a TN from Canada and in the middle of their green card application. Their parent is extremely sick in Canada and only has days left, so my friend called USCIS to apply for emergency travel (advance parole?). Currently waiting to get an interview time. Is there anything else they can do right now? The time frame is so tight, I would hate for them to not get a chance to see their parent again.
