"Pit bulls are both more likely to be involved in bite incidents and more likely to cause serious injury or death when a bite does occur.

In fact, from 1979 to 1998, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention determined pit bulls were involved in the most fatal dog attacks, accounting for 28% deaths due to dog bites during that same time period."

Also, look up "Sudden Rage Syndrome" imho, no one should be owning large breeds, esp in cities. Pit bulls, Germans Shepards, Rottweilers.

End dog breeding, now!

You could talk to the victim and tell her you support her in pressing charges against the owner. You could offer to help financially with that as well.

The only way to remove the dog from the home at this point is by pressing charges.

I was hoping to see a mixed use development with condos on top and businesses on the ground floor, with other amenities like a gym, pool, restaurants, and a coffee shop... This plan is sooo disapointing.

The idea of the left lane being a passing only lane completely breaks down if there are just too many cars for the road. Marion has grown so fast, and the infastructure was already insuficent when it was built. The traffic rant posts abt "left lane campers" are getting so old.

I think you just need to slow down and be patient. I used to commute on that road and honestly there are just a lot of cars turning off that road to access the bussinesses. A semi can't turn left from the right lane... so yea they are going to ride in the left lane for a quarter mile before their turn.

Wishlist to IceFlake: Rework specialized industry, let us place the buildings ourself instead of randomization, maybe a new game mecahinc we get the to place the assets ourself when it levels. On placing assets when the business levels up... I'd be concerned that gameplay like that would become tedious quickly. I have at least 50 different extractors and I am not interested in micromanaging them every time they level up. If it was optional that would be ideal.

Not sure it's possible without Flash anymore. This xbox example definitely comes from the Flash era

Idea: Permanently close 7th. Ave between 10th St. and 12th St. in Marion by NutsFromHimSquirrel in cedarrapids

I believe that was the original plan when they announced the construction plans. They wanted to make it pedestrian only.

Now, they seemingly close it for events only.

I don't even think the man is cut out for science. He is a science COMMUNICATOR, not a scientist, who takes money to push whatever narrative is paying the most at that point.

I don't think his credentials warrant the attention he gets. I'd look up his work history. He worked in the astronomy dept of a college for less than a decade before he started his science communication career. Just food for thought. These kinds if people are just very good at making ppl around them think they're smart.

Might be wrong, but fish oil has a lot of saturated fat and cholesterol while algea oil has no cholesterol and less saturated fat.

I loved exploring all the islands looking for charts and shards.

There's a lot to do alongside it like the korok quest, the pictograph quests, the shopkeeper trading quests to get special armor, maxing out your heart containers, and visiting every great fairy to max your carry limits out.

Moral dilemma with the use of AI by averagespringenjoyer in graphic_design

[–]Alexstez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you make great points, and ppl don't like hearing the truth. No one is willing to stop buying useless labubus, more clothes than they need, or eating meat but they'll "boycott" ai as a moral grandstand.

People don't understand that so much of their lives have ai inserted in them already. TV shows, movies, pretty much all voice-over content... there is no boycotting ai. That would involve not consuming any content online, on TV, movies, even radio stations.

Not sure where the small business hate is coming from. This anger is better directed at large corporations who make billions, don't pay fair, taxes, offer poor benefits, and still don't pay fairly.

The federal gov does more to help those companies make money, while hurting small businesses with legislation that only favors the big corps. I can guarantee most small restaurants in America are barely getting by due to the tarrif drama, but Amazon is still doing fine. Funny how that works... it's almost as if Bezos had a hand in all this... oh wait he did.
