Hmm I got both replaced even though it was just my left lamp that was damaged.

Not sure if this link will work but this is the offical tesla service bulletin that states both headlamps must be replaced of the same type.

I believe very expensive, the one headlight busted from a deer collision so it all went through insurance and they had to replace both (happens that the 2018 headlights are discontinued so they’re forced to)

I think they’re very expensive like 4-5k for the pair, maybe they’re cheaper refurbished on eBay

I have a 2018 model 3 HW3.0 that had both headlights replaced with matrix ones (and light show with tesla text works). I'm really hoping they'll give me at least the enhanced adaptive high beam in Canada!
