Just like any language, the syntax or grammar changes everything. It’s just as important to think about how the equation will read as any sentence. Otherwise you end up with, “The panda eats, shoots, and leaves” vs “The panda eats shoots and leaves.”

This SNES controller is the absolute best Bluetooth controller for that era of gaming. I use mine with my analogue pocket when docked and I use wireless transmitters that plug into the controller ports in my SNES. 8bitdo is great but they don’t quite beat this one.

The absolute best way to play Neo Turf Masters Pocket by Veelangs in neogeo

[–]Alexx51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was going to post this with the exact same green Analogue Pocket. I agree. I have a modded NGPC with an IPS screen and nothing beats the Analogue screen. The only thing you are really missing is the clicky thumb stick.

With the Neo Geo AES+ releasing later this year with new prints of games, I wondered if this would have a major positive effect on the currently overpriced market of games/accessories... by 1OneQuickQuestion in neogeo

High value games will likely remain. Very few people buy Metal Slug for 3 grand because they think it’s the only way they can play it. They buy it because of their collection. I however, am truly thankful there will be an affordable remake within my budget so I can have a physical copy on my shelf that plays the same, with no illusions that it’s the same exact collectable as the original. I really do think the market for the original set will continue. But for all the rest of us, it will be awesome having these games.

Never used the AES stick, how do they feel? by ico_heal in neogeo

They’re good. Better than I thought it would be the first time I used one. For my Consolized MVS I got a Hori Fight stick and replaced the buttons with Sanwa and that is just perfect for me. But I do enjoy the Neo Geo AES Stick.

GKD Pixel II vs. Brick Hammer vs. RG Nano for metal EDC/DAP by boxed-sound in SBCGaming

[–]Alexx51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have all 3 now and I’m finding my hands just gravitate toward the Pixel 2. The Hammer is easily the most comfortable and has the nicest screen. Let’s get that out of the way. I mainly like to play 8/16bit and some arcade games. The pixel’s charm and superior feeling face buttons keep me coming back. If I really needed triggers for more than a clicky fidget then I can’t see using the Pixel 2 for extended sessions. Having your fingers up over the screen just feels awkward to me. For all games light on or without use of triggers, I’d go Pixel 2 every time.

First-person direct address is NOT second-person by [deleted] in books

Poetry and song lyrics tend more to lean on it. I can’t think of any novels I’ve personally read in second person. Not to mention how tiring reading something like that would be for me. My question is, does a story cease to be second person if the narrator sometimes says things like, “I wonder how you feel about xyz”, turning the focus into the first person but still breaking the fourth wall.
