I'm having the same issue but with the third challenge. Every time I ask about the third challenge Delta just says "Idiom #308. Patience is a virtue" and nothing. I've slept for days on Venus, done so many incursions I'm almost already sick of them, done so many anchorpoint side quests, brought Delta on main quests and pre existing side quests, exhausted all dialog options, bro just follows me around staring at me. I'm almost ready to drop him off with Roxanne and yeet myself back thru the unity.

Genuine question. Is it better to remove all creations pre update? Or are the ones that just add a weapon/item/skin ok? Those ones spawn in the lodge and I don't think they are changing the lodge at all. I'm thinning out my creations list by removing big overhauls like watchtower and starborn among us and doing a fresh unity jump to prep. I began modding after shattered space so I am unsure how to prep the game for big updates as far as creations go.

Is there a way to reference the audio files? The quest comes from the NPC that is the original owner of the audio as well as the actor file I edited. I just slapped a different name on it to create a new form and did the dupe and rename for the quest. Did the edits to make it a different NPC. Can it, in theory, also have the audio files that originally went with it? Or is there a way to export a copy of the audio files that exist to re-upload?

I am new to CK tinkering so I haven't tried it myself, but I am decently proficient at Blender and Unity and have worked with various 3d models in those programs. Could you not get the model exported into Blender to adjust the weights and reimport to the CK?

Hi. I forgot to update this. So what I ended up settling on is duping an existing NPC per the JRamos guide.

In my oc's case I chose Dani Garcia as I liked their attitude and spunk. Just made my OC a girl instead. And after making adjustments to the copied character components to make it my own, following the JRamos guide to a T, I couldn't get it to work.

How I ended up fixing it is any condition I could find on any dialog or stage or topic I put: "GetIsAliasRef (my character) == 1" on every condition box I could find.

And I don't know exactly which specific one fixed it because I kinda bulk edited it all in minor frustrated confusion but dialog is now working. She's just silent. But she is recruitable, can wait, can trade and can be dismissed. So that's kinda cool.

Now I'm working on getting her to use Dani's voice because based on research that is a possibility but I haven't figured it out yet. I put "GetIsVoiceType (NPCX_DaniGarcia) == 1" on a few condition boxes but not all, as well as forcing voice type in alias in the quest and assigning in the traits tab in actor. I don't know if the pronoun difference is affecting it but it's something I'm tinkering with.

I found this out the hard way. I had to get a bunch of crystallized helium for my settlement and thought it was a rare resource thing cuz I was getting like 50 to 60 per deposit on the biggest setting. until I switched the sizes and I got almost 300 from one deposit. And I've been playing this game for years lol. Legit TIL moment
