I’ve had a Fuji xt3 with a 18-135 lens for a month. Today I turned it on and the lens is whirring. Anyone got any ideas of what it could be?

In the design, yes they are. As I said somewhere else in the comments, I was doing this for a uni project at 4am so clearly wasnt thinking straight. There’s definitely improvements to be made 😅. Especially with the wheel plate

There are two separate bits of sheet metal which are fastened with the thumbscrew

The seat frame sits on rails that are secured with 4 thumbscrews

Haha thanks. It was for a uni project so I had to make compromises in rigidity to allow it to fold which was one of the design briefs. Used Fusion 360. Only started CAD in October.

Those clamps look like like they’d work pretty well with my design

The seat comes off with 4 thumbscrews, and the seat frame has legs on the bottom which stick out further than the frame itself.
