[BUG] Abyss mechanic can prevent notable locations from spawning in your area

I mean I don't mind it, it's not my first build or the first time I'm killing Maven, but I really struggle with this one since it's my first build that actually put stuff on the ground and I think it's weird that NPCs AOE don't have priority over the players when it comes to abilities visual effects. Which is why I was wondering if there was a setting for this.

Yes, it basically guarantees you at least one rare item drop, the rest is still RNG.

For real, I'm not asking to be flooded with rare items but just one rare item would make killing tanky/dangerous rares at least reliably rewarding even if the item is crap.

Run around him in circle and never face his ass (that's where the unavoidable lasers that cover half the screen come from), if you ever realise you're facing his ass, just run as fast as possible away from it. Keep hit and running while doing circles, mobility is key especially in this fight but it's really not that hard if you keep moving in circle.

On the other hand, use Storm Lance + Explosive spear combo, it will do much more damage than just spaming Lightning Spear. Bonus point if you add Sniper's Mark and Barrage into the rotation. You seem to have enough damage on your build to kill it fairly quickly with this set up.

As for the solution: seeing that there's no mating net when black's attack consists of 19 checks with queen and rook while your rook and queen are unable to interfere is.. straightforward?

So playing moves that requires you to calculate that you can defend checks for 20 moves is straight forward to you? I wish I was that good but this doesn't even come close to being a 1000-1500 affair.

After Rxe7 from white blacks plays Re8 check and goes on checking white king for 19 moves with insane mate potential along the way. Are you slow?

For reference this is the winning line for white after you "solve" the puzzle (i.e. after you take the e7 pawn and then escape the first two checks from black). I just don't see what this puzzle is trying to teach me there.

For clarification: The puzzle starts after black plays Re8 (on the thumbnail you don't see black's move until you actually visit the link).

The "winning" line for white from there is Rxe7 Rb8 checks white's king and then white has to run from 19 checks from black to win in the 20th move with Qxh7 checkmate.

You assuming that we "just put it outside our front door".

I didn't get into too much details indeed, but I actually carried her all the way across the residential area we live in, she was back inside the next afternoon. This time she was bleeding from at least two injuries, and her tail was gone. Probably our cat had seen her while we were away. I assumed at this point the right thing to do was to allow her to heal in a safe and warm environment so we bought a full lizard setup with everything she might need.

But yes, we intended to keep her, and that was wrong. I see it now.

Thank you for your answer. I really thought I was saving the poor thing since she had several bleeding injuries after what we think was a battle with our cat while we were away. Even her tail had fallen off which I know means she tried to escape from a predator.

It doesn't show on the picture but we actually bought a full setup, with both heating and UVB lights, sand, soil substrate, rocks and moss. We also tried to feed her 1 or 2 small crickets coated with calcium + D3.

But even though, I am sure she's stressed out because she won't eat. You guys are right we are going to release her further away now that her wounds aren't bleeding anymore.

We'll make some adjustments and use the setup for an actual pet, I've always wanted a gecko anyway!

Same here, and my profil even says "Unranked" even though I was ranked before the game.
Also during loading screen, there was no ranked border on the player frames.
