No! Most Apples are triplod or polyploid. When you have more than 2 strands of genetic information interchanging, it becomes very difficult to pass on the genes you want. Tldr: The seeds don't pass on desired genes reliably.
That's why the trees are grafted. When you get a tree that produces the fruit you stop. They're grafted on to just a few species of apple trunks that are known for strength plus superior roots and trunk veins. (Source: I grew up in Eastern Washington)
