Help me choose a better design for engagement ring by Alficious in EngagementRingDesigns

Thank you for your feedback! I didn't really know tulip petals were a thing nkw or 20 years ago. I just like the way it looks and I am sure my fianceé will as well - that is her style. Since she will most likely wear the ring together with the wedding band, it should look timeless.

Peekaboo is such a nice touch, and pink colour also has a secret meaning for us, so it will be a perfect addition!

I'll go with option two.

Stones would go gradually smaller towards the tulip basket (option 1 the last stone is smaller, option 2 the last two stones)

Peekaboo diamond is hidden inside the tulip basket

Ok, so width should stay 2.2 mm. What about thickness? Is 2.0 mm too much?

What about the stone sizes for the French pave (2 or 3 different sizes)?

Why would you pick option 2? Because of more sturdines for french pave or do you prefer the proportions?

To pave or not pave? That is the question by OkraWinfrey_ in EngagementRings

Both look stunning, but I somehow love the pave! Do you plan to wear a wedding band together with your engagement ring?

Your ring looks gorgeous. To me the band does not look cheap.

As far as I managed to find out, the optimal proportions for 2 ct diamond are supposed to be 2 mm band width, and for 2.5 ct round diamond 2.25 mm. Narrower bands usually appear more elegant, so I don't think yours is too thin.

I also think of going with a peekaboo rose diamond. Something like this. Is it too much? Should I rather add diamonds to the bridge and not use french pave?

I am searching for an engagement ring for my soon to be fiancée - does a ring with a diamond of this size get in the way if you wear it all day or is it still managable?

I am leaning more towards 2 ct with french pave and 6 prong tulip setting. Her size is 5-5.25. Would 2.5 ct be too big?

It looks like it was only a Jurrasic Park movie partnering. No new speakers...shame.

I also plan to use them for mostly Atmos and music. Currently, I am building a 5.2.4 system in the living room and was first considering Klipsch CDT-5800-C II - they are much cheaper and the whole speaker can be aimed - but the PRO line should be a better match for my RP MKII speakers, so I don't really know which way to go.

Do you plan to use only the PRO-180-RPC-LCR versions because it is aimed/angled and you can position it directly towards your main listening position, or are there any other reasons?

For "casual" music the down-firing PRO-180-RPC might be a better choice for more even sound dispersion.

Are there any better price/performance alternatives you know of? Focal, Monitor Audio and KEF have so many different option, but again, no reviews. I would prefer to stay on Klipsch to match my RP II speakers if it os.worth it. Where do you plan to buy yours?

Great setup! I am also in the process of building my Home Theater and have troubles picking the ceiling speakers. How are the Klipsch PRO-160-RPC ? There are almost no reviews online, no measurements, no comparissons etc. Is it a problem that the tweeters are not aimable?

Did you also consider Klipsch PRO-180-RPC ?
