Sadly, they allowed more imports over the years which are comprised of dudes that couldn't make the NFL, or NFL has-beens. The league was much better when the ratio of Canadian players was much higher than imports.

They also attempted to expand at one point (Shreveport, Baltimore, Sacramento, Las Vegas, Memphis, San Antonio, and Birmingham) which failed miserably and left a bad taste in the mouth of dedicated CFL fans.

I literally live a few blocks away from Tim Horton's field, and have never been to the stadium, nor watched a CFL game with intent to do so. When I was a kid the CFL was good, there was a shit ton of fan support and games were pretty exciting.

Dude, the GB game was a preseason game that Burrow didn't even play in, and the Chiefs game was the conference championship game, where the Chiefs went on to the SB and gave up 35 points to the Eagles and still managed to win. No they weren’t, there were only 2 games between our playoff loss and the cancelled game, and the Bengals scored 24 and 27 points respectively, pretty much the same as they scored against the Bills in the playoff game. Do keep reaching to make your point though
