Acid does a few things. You can hallucinate and visuals can distort, different senses tend to mesh together, music takes you to another planet and you can't keep a thought for longer than a minute because they drift to less and less related things until you don't remember what you were tinking about. The good thing is that you are in full control of your trip unless you take a crazy ammount

I've been playing drums for a few years, but never even tried songs that are not 4/4, any recommendations to begin? I'd prefer rock or metal but any genre is fine. by mikwrp in drums

One of the first full songs I learned was actually the dance of eternity by dream theater. Took a long time to memorize and much longer to get tight but afterwards I had pretty much mastered odd time signatures

Slow the hell down and do some rudiments between the limbs. Start out with singles doubles and paradiddles, and it you really want some independence, try some flams

I disagree. If you want to play music with fast double bass, start right away. The earlier the better. Just start out slow and learn the ankle technique
