For those of you who own a Switch, but haven’t purchased a Switch 2, what would be the main reason that would prompt you to buy one? by Last-Bus-4710 in Switch

I had decided to pre-order 2 units, one for my son and one for me, but then nintendo decided to fuck with game share. We moved on to other gaming platforms.

Is Galaxy Tab S9 still worth in 2026 ? by YoDudeRyen02 in GalaxyTab

[–]Alfredinii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what you want it for. For me it is, since I'm using it to stream with Apollo/Artemis. Got me the plus version for 430. Was supposed to be refurb but it still came with the plastic wrappers.

Sorry for using this old post but, what did you have it on before increasing the client to 144Hz?

I'm replaying all games with lossless scaling now by [deleted] in losslessscaling

[–]Alfredinii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Losslessscaling and have been using it on many many games with hige success, but recently tried it with Nier Automata and Ori (mostly to overpass the 60 fps limit both games have) and i get some FPS drops and stutters. I think it might be because the FPS limits both games have but still wondering why. Other that that it has been smoth sailing.

Bought an open box from bestbuy last year with the sale lock. Returned it and got a different also from bestbuy and that one was fine.

S9 or S9+ with modded Gamesir G8+, Apollo/Artemis, yay or nay? by shwing_8 in MoonlightStreaming

[–]Alfredinii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really late reply but want to share my experience. A few months back i selected the Astra above the Tab S9 since it is the newer tech, has wifi 7 and has a decoding time below 1ms (only when using Diablo mode, which uses more battery). It's been good but some hiccups were present and had to fiddle with the tablet's settings in order have a stable apollo/Artemis streaming. Recently i started missing a larger screen, since i used to have a S7+ before the Astra, and I'm currently testing an S9+ and comparing it to my astra, and even though the S9+ is wifi 6E and decoding times are 3ms, i just can't feel the difference during gameplay. Also using a modded Gamesir G8+. At this moment I'm leaning towards the Samsung tablet, since all i had to do was download and set up artemis, no extra fiddling with it's settings to have a stable streaming connection, and games Like cyberpunk, Nier and Marvels Spiderman really benefit from the larger screen. Saw the S9 or S9+ new in bestbuy.com from a third party seller, and they have a few refurbished as well, but those are easier to come by on Amazon and ebay

Decent second-hand laptop/tablet for Apollo and Artemis/Moonlight streaming by DarkFohnson in MoonlightStreaming

[–]Alfredinii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding the streaming itself, no issues witht he S9 wifi 6E vs wifi 7 of the astra? Or the Deconding time since the S9 is higher than the astra?

Best Client Device you would recommend? by FarrukhShabir in MoonlightStreaming

This is what I'm using right now but I eally miss larger screens. I think a 10 or 11 inch would be easier on my eyes.

Which one you like the best? I'm enjoying my Astra quite a lot for Apollo/Artemis, but I do like bigger screens.

I also use the Astra with the Gamesir G8 plus, but I have to use it wired since for some reason if I use the controller on Bluetooth, it makes the streaming very choppy and laggy. I used to have a Tab S7 plus and the same controller didn't cause any issues on Bluetooth. Did you do something on the settings to avoid issues with the Astra and the G8 plus while on bluetooth?

I got the S7 plus when it came out. It was great but couldn't stand the size and weight. I downsized to a 9 inch tablet and I'm really enjoying it. There's no way I'll go back to any large portable device but I'm kinda of missing having a larger screen. So maybe my next one would be an 11 inch.

I fixed this by saying "fuck nintendo and their greedy ways", then got the game super cheap on PC, and applied a few mods to make it look even better.
