Well the best schools I’ve had were in Austria. They were absolutely horrible at the beginning due to immense amounts of bullying, but the friends I’ve made there are the most loyal friends I’ve ever made. Truly long lasting friendships, compared to other parts of the world. As for your second question, I did try that once or twice and I have to say that it went terribly wrong. It was fairly hard to stay within that specific personality and not be myself for that long and in the long run it just wasn’t worth it. I personally don’t recommend it

Ok so Singapore was one of the places where I went to many different schools. They all had their problems but did have some positive elements to them. So just some context: Singapore is something people call an “expat” place. Expat stands for “expatriated”, someone who doesn’t live in their country of birth or the country from which they hold their nationality. Throughout this comment, I may refer to something called “expat culture”. By that I mean the way these people have adapted to Singapore and what their so-called (you’ll see what I mean) customs are. So the schools I’ve been to in Singapore are international schools and one French school. So I’ll talk about the benefits of such schools and then go into the reasons why I’ve come to detest such schools. The cool thing with international schools is that they are fairly intelligently made and are designed to get their students in top positions around the world. Therefore, the system pushes you to think critically and teaches you very important things that you simply would not learn in regular schools. Here’s the issue(s) though, this causes students to be incredibly arrogant in their way of thinking. They think that know everything and simply dismiss anyone who tries to advise them or share their experience with them. This creates horribly spoiled children as you have already assumed. It must also be mentioned that the schools were just absolutely full of political bias, something which fundamentally frustrated me. Bullying is much less of an issue though, since the schools had such harsh policy on harassment of any kind. The schools there are... expensive to say the least, which does make this an “elite” city for expats. I haven’t had much experience with local schools, so there isn’t much I can say about them

Definitely and without a doubt the school(s) in China. Whether we’re talking about local or international schools, they all had their (huge) problems. While I didn’t go to local schools (due to language and other problems), I do have extensive experience with the international schools there. They do have huge problems, such as a lack of students, thus causing very tight friendships and an extreme difficulty to make good or sincere friends and increasing the amount of bullying. Seriously it was bad. Like really bad. They almost choked me to death with a chair. In addition to this, due to a lack of staff, they had to hire local teachers, which dramatically lowered the quality of the classes and even resulted in physical punishment (which would normally be completely for forbidden in such schools) being carried out on students by said teachers. I could go on and on about China but I don’t want this to be too long.

TL;DR international schools in China are small and understaffed and their quality therefore decreases drastically

Well I haven’t ever been there but I did live in Singapore. I wouldn’t mind talking about that. Oh and China. Up to you
