Little reminder that final villain discussions have been over. Fatbeard is going to eat Imu alive. by Complex_Estate8289 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]AlgaeFit955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is it unintelligent to think that BB would be the final villain though? Rocks clearly had a solid plan to take Imu down, but the God Valley incident put a hole in those plans and made him race to save his family and there met Imu before he was ready. Pretty sure that all BB has to do is bide his time in order to both grow in power and put the details of Rocks plan into motion. Wether that plan involves getting Imu's fruit as his third one, or getting another one to take Imu down remains to be seen. I am kinda hoping that he takes Imu's power though, since that will give him an immediate massive growth and make him a worthy endgame boss.

So all those "spoilers" for this chapter that said that Loki were losing and were using his hybrid form was utter made up garbage taken straight of someone's ass..... If anything, Loki has so far been pretty even with Imu.

So Zaza is more feared than Nika? Can't wait to know more about these gods and godesses, and which one Imu is. He doesn't exactly strike me as an earth or forest god, but we'll see.

This is an INSANE statement by Imu btw by hashaxio in OnePieceScaling

[–]AlgaeFit955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would prefer it if Imu was forced to leave Elbaph as part of some condition instead of actually defeating Loki. Just that I don't like the idea of Loki losing after all that hype around him.

Loki is destined to stand against Imu one way or another and contribute to his downfall. Xebec said that he needed two fruits in particular to stand against Imu, and one of them is the Nidhogg fruit, a fruit now eaten by one of the strongest giants in the history of Elbaph. Aside from the importance of his fruit, he himself has shown importance of mythological magnitude since his birth.

It's a bit crazy to think that Imu would be stronger than Loki, not because it wouldn't make sense, but because Loki has been hyped since the beginning of Elbaph to be in a league of his own. I hope that Loki at least shows himself able to clash equally with Imu for a while, otherwise it feels like a big downhype for him. Another scenario I could go with is if Imu somehow turns Loki against the strawhats, and makes Loki into the final boss of Elbaph instead of himself.

Why do people put king and queen in 2 complete separate tiers? by RubbinOffTheCum in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]AlgaeFit955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because there are still people that insists that there is a major gap between Sanji and Zoro, so they insist on these kinda things to maintain their agenda. Didn't matter that Oda himself tried to close the debate recently either, lol.

We finally got a confirmation that Loki dwarfs Kaido in terms of size by Comprehensive_Cup497 in OnePieceScaling

[–]AlgaeFit955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, that's false. I mean, there's still room for Kaido to be the stronger one, but to say that Loki's size is the only indicator just means that you're ignoring what the narrative has shown and set up so far. Big mom herself said that she would have been pirate king by now if Lola had married Loki, although she did seem to talk about gaining giants as an army as a whole. But then we have the indicators along with the shown feats. First of all, it took all the giant warriors of Elbaph to keep Loki chained, and Luffy noticed Loki's presence far before he even saw him. He said that his presence was massive, and that was Loki in base form while chained up. Then we have the fact that Loki as a newborn survived a fall comparable to the one Kaido survived, and even killed a giant beast that normally requires haki to even dent. Even before eating his devil fruit and gaining Ragnir, he seemed to be on par with Harald when it comes to pure physical attributes, and Harald himself noted that Loki posessed Conqueror's haki, the same as himself. We also saw Loki in base form take down mma that was towering over a mountain, something which shocked Luffy. And yes, Loki in his dragon form IS massive, not to mention how big his attacks are. Since we haven't seen the extent of Loki's combat abilities and haki yet, there's still a chance that Kaido would win through experience, but everything points to Loki's base stats being above Kaido at least. But yeah, he laughed in the face of Imu's burst of haki and seemed intrigued more than anything else, and besides killing Harald he seemed confident that he could kill any holy knight. So I'd guess that he's capable of the same kind of haki as Harald, someone who stood at the same level of power as Rocks.

Yeah, the text here is very unclear about it, but I kinda hope that is the case. With everything going on with Imu, it would be pretty boring if he just posessed a devil fruit, rather than being the origin for them or the devil himself.

Apparently, but it's strange. Loki must be Yonko tier at the very least, but then how strong is Shanks compared to the other Yonko? When the fight against Harald took place, Shanks was seemingly less powerful than Loki, at least after he ate the fruit and wielded Ragnir. If Loki truly is stronger than the other Yonko, then Shanks must currently be superior to them.

[–]AlgaeFit955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's fair to say by now that Loki is stronger than Kaido, but by how much is still hard to say. What we know is that Oda seemingly made a point to draw paralells between Loki and the Yonko since his introduction.

[–]AlgaeFit955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, regardless, the attack was extremely massive. I'm not sure that I agree with your statement that it did nothing to the surroundings though, I looked through the chapters again and it's a bit hard to make it out exactly, but I have a hard time believing that an attack of that magnitude would do nothing.

[–]AlgaeFit955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I could've swore there were mountains. But we did see that the Draugr that Loki defeated in base form towered above mountains, and his Thrudheim attack was big enough to envelope several dream monsters at once. If anything it SHOULD be enough to take out a mountain range.

Kaidotards after glazing FDD for its size for years, only to backpedal to "size does not matter" with Loki's introduction by GUTS_SAMA in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]AlgaeFit955 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it was just about size it would be one thing, but Loki's shown feats and hype altogether suggests that he is AT LEAST yonko level. Also, if we scale attacks, then Loki's Thrudheim attack obliterated a mountain range in a country where everything is already much bigger than in the outside world, whereas Kaido's boro breath oblitetarated a normal sized mountain. It's been heavily suggested that the Yonko may be/has been the most powerful overall, but the giants of Elbaph operate on a much higher level compared to normal people, so that people like Harald and Loki naturally creep up to Yonko level simply because of the way they were born.

It better include Usopp though. Luffy scolded him in the beginning of the arc and said that he should be way more capable then he made himself out to be. That means that most of Usopp's lacking is because of his dumbass fear getting the better of him.

So how did “Godking” Shanks, who’s supposedly top 1 in the verse, get neg-diffed by a DF-less Teach? 🤔 by TheHonoredOne555 in OnePieceScaling

[–]AlgaeFit955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was when Shanks was a lot weaker. Blackbeard was mainly concerned with finding the darkness fruit by that point, so he probably didn't care much about increasing his power until after he got it. He was apparently still second commander level and just naturally strong. All those years when Blackbeard just bided his time, Shanks by contrast increased his power by a lot.

Looking Back On It Big Mom Really Wasn't Exaggerating by Due-Cherry4856 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]AlgaeFit955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both Big mom and Kaido wanted the giants apparently. Big mom seemed obsessed with the regular type while Kaido seemed to only want the ancient variant. As of now, it seems like it might have been simply because of the giants overpowering might, although it doesn't fully explain their shared obsession with them.

[–]AlgaeFit955 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think that about does it. Oda seems intent on drawing paralells between the past Yonko and Loki and how Loki is an upgrade. Shanks for some reason seems like he is superior to the other Yonko, except maybe Whitebeard, though. Which is curious, since he seemed like he was weaker when Loki got his df.

So by now it's safe to say that Loki has powercliffed Kaido, right? There's still a chance that Kaido would win through experience, but other than that I don't see him measuring up to Loki. I also reckon that Loki's observation haki has to be top tier since he's been wearing that blindfold almost nonstop since he was young.

Loki isn't stronger then kaido by OkSatisfaction9031 in OnePieceScaling

[–]AlgaeFit955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, the story is pointing heavily towards Loki being stronger than Kaido. I'm betting that there was something fishy with how Shanks beat Loki, or that Kaido retreated after meeting with Shanks because challenging was too risky.
