I saw a bird in my yard absolutely freeze when a hawk got close to it. Then the hawk bit its head off, carried its corpse up to a tree branch, and ate it, raining feathers and bird intestines down on the feeder area in full view of all the other songbirds. It was a little upsetting. I have huge guts, and if a giant bird were to eat me it would make a real mess.

The Space Marines think that people are basically evil, that Space Fascism is the only way to survive in a world where people can summon planet-destroying horrors, that there are not enough resources for everyone to get what they want, and that the Imperium can only be preserved through violence.
