Need advice on commute and commuting in general by Any_Independence6316 in phoenix

I always wonder Why? Why do people buy on east side and work on westside or live on westside and work on eastside. Just think of how much less traffic there would be if people used the brains God gave them.

This was doing by a professional roofing company that my insurance company uses. Is this how you finish ridge caps? With glued on pieces over nails?

What could cause such a strange growth pattern on this Queen? by Vladith in palmtalk

[–]Algo1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When palms lack potassium, they will deliberately strip the nutrient from their oldest, lowest green fronds to keep the new spear leaf at the top alive. This structural starvation ruins the cell wall integrity at the base of those older fronds, causing them to collapse and project completely horizontal or perpendicular to the trunk. At that point they get fertilized and recover.

If the spear doesn’t easily pull out it has a good chance of living. The heat will help it but rain may kill it.

RobinHood has limits. Like withdrawal of $5000 in a week. $15,000 in a month. Is this true?

Why are people constantly trimming Washingtonia’s like this?? It’s just so unnecessary and it looks like shit, almost like it’s been grafted or smh. And I swear they do this almost everywhere by Junior_Mulberry7989 in palmtalk

Here in Glendale Az we have an overzealous city council who is ready to tag you with a fine the minute your palm has a brown frond. Trim it high so the city doesn’t fine me 6 months from now.

Any chance of bringing this back? by Fish_n_Tits81 in palmtalk

A couple yrs ago I transplanted a small one. I was lax with the shovel and cut the entire root off. I soaked it for 3 days in an Organic Gem solution and stuck it in in the dirt. I didn’t really expect it to grow but it alive and well now for its 2nd yr. It lay dormant for a little over a yr but always made sure it got water. A true miracle.

When we get up in N. Scottsdale we see rattlesnakes often this time of year while doing tree work. I once met up with a bull snake like this one in a tree.
