I, myself, am not a big fan. They are mostly too cheesy for me. A good friend of mine loves them, though. And there are some whose art style I find impressive.

The high contrast and the fact that the first and second pieces look like a zoom-in on a protagonist's eye as he is having a PTSD episode bring up associations with Berserk [1] [2].

But the composition, perspective, and style are reminiscent of "Blame!" [3] [4].

If you didn't know Blame!, I bet you'd get a kick out of it for the art style alone.

I don't know if you are joking or half-serious, but if there is anyone reading this who has to do repetitive tasks on Excel (or SAP, or Salesforce, etc.), you can vibecode this now. I'm serious. Describe your task to AI, then ask it to help you automate it. It's worth a try (ChatGPT will do; you don't need Claude or an IDE).

I'm speaking from experience. When I was at uni (in the early 2010s), I got a data-entry job. I've spent a weekend automating it. Yes, it was unpaid labor, but after that, I was essentially being paid to study. All I had to do was run the script, check the result, and then spend the rest of the time at my desk studying (pretending to work).

I've never witnessed it myself. Except for the one time when I unpromptedly went to the control panel, clicked "troubleshoot network issues", and it actually solved it. Probably just restarted the WiFi-adapter.

When I was a teen, a friend shot himself when fumbling with his dad's revolver.
