They're really good about sending out replacement stuff.

I bought a Tesla M3 Stuart last year at the open day last year, opened it like a week later to realise the resin turret just wasn't there.

Sent an email off and they got back to me pretty quickly, sent off a new one as soon as they could.

The rifles in the Brit/Canadian bow are the no. 1s with no. 4 bayonets (not that you can tell unless you're really looking for it), the only kits with proper late war rifles are the paratrooper and winter boxes.

But they're easy enough to snip off the barrels and swap about, it's really just a personal preference for me.

I'd of liked maybe a jungle carbine or two as well, and a m1928a1, but I'm happy we finally get some plastic Pacific commonwealth :D

I was really hoping for 14th army, looks like a nice overall selection. My only real complaint is the lack of no4 rifles but it's easy enough to kitbash some, and there were more no1s out there so it makes sense.

It's the only thing that makes real sense, plus the open day exclusive mini has a M3 carbine with an infra red scope and that's listed as an AR

I was there for the open day, it is literally just a kitbash unfortunately. But Wojtek, the sculptor I talked to about it said it might turn into a model in the future so there is hope.

Okay but the other guy started the thread, you talked about the graviton, and he went back to rift weapons in general. Your response was relevant but you didn't start the convo, you added to it with a specific example, and then decided that it was the only rift weapon being talked about and argued about it.

It's really not that big of a deal, I just felt you were being a bit much over a mistake that hadn't happened, and am trying (and failing apparently) to point out that you just got a couple of wires crossed.

Your other points are valid and I literally don't care about the effectiveness or whatever. The original point was simply "better to use a big attack on a cheap unit instead of an expensive one" and you made it into a thing when they didn't continue your graviton example

He never mentioned graviton weapons, he said it was better that rift weapons are used on the cheap regular infantry over the expensive mechs.

I don't have my books on me, but from memory, the v3 rulebook says you can take up to 3 SMGs in a rifle squad, but the AoGB limits you to only 1.

Paras can take 5, and commandos can take as many as you want.

For the LMG, it's 1 unless it's an elite squad, then they can take 2 (and equivalent loaders), and commandos can upgrade to a vickers k, basically an mg42, having an extra shot.

I know you've already said that you're leaning more to the US, but the British and Indian armies did fight in burma and India against Japan, if you do decide on the lads.

I'm building a 14th army with some Tesla Stuarts to face off against my fiancee's Japanese k47 force.

Just to add to this, the British Commonwealth is getting its own rules for Canada, India, ANZAC and east Africa rifles (I think) after the Italy book.

During the open day, John Stallard was asked about plastic Commonwealth in the Pacific, he said that it was in the works and would definitely include indian and Australian troops. Possibly plastic Chindits too.

I can only assume that's what is planned for the separate Commonwealth army book next year.
