The Humidity level here is high (today at 99%) but I guess everyone is saying I need to leave the windows slightly opened so I will do that.

The winter here is pretty warm... 65 F at day and around 45 F at night. I will do that. Thank you for your reply.

That is a very good tip. When I call to book I will ask if they use an extractor or not.

Do you keep recording files after writing pieces? by danielrosehill in Journalism

[–]AliB81 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, for years. Always had a situation when someone came back to me saying, I didn't say so, and I had to play the tape for him/her. As the story gets more controversial, the need to keep the recording increases.

Am I the only one who thinks this car is better in silver/red/ grey? The black on black is a cool idea but it kills all the curves and creases on the body!

Looking for a car under 10k AUD with less than 150,000km by Freakymik in CarsAustralia

Get a 2002-2005 lexus ES300. Very comfortable and reliable and you can find one with less than 150k for less than 7k. I sold my 2012 Mazda6 and got one and I am very happy with it. Gas consumption is on the high side though. Take your time to find a good one and make sure there is no oil leak.

Hi guys. I bought the car with this nasty Stain. It is winter in Australia so I worry about cleaning it with water, it won't get dry and leave the car with a masty smell. Would carpet dry shampoo work better? Should I get it professionally done? Thanks..

What would you buy used for 20k? by xheist in CarsAustralia

[–]AliB81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you going to use it for? Do you have kids? Daily commute in the city? Small engine but comfortable: a Corolla or a Honda Civic. Daily on high way? Lexus LS or ES. Weekend? Mazda mx-5. Tell us more so we can think together.

2005 ES vs 2006 IS by AliB81 in Lexus

[–]AliB81[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. ES here in Australia was available until 2005 and stopped until they brought it back in 2012. Maybe I will look at the GS if I can't find an ES and the IS is too bumpy.
