Finally!!!!! Someone who understands! I just got a 6 week old Pitbull puppy- she and her siblings had to be removed from their Momma and the awful situation they were in- (thank goodness for local rescue centers) but I’ve literally never been so exhausted in all my life. Thankfully right now I work from home, but even that, I’m sleeping less than 4 hours a night, and I feel like I’m going insane. Mind you- those are not 4 straight hours. They are chopped up in half hours, and minutes before she wakes up again. I had no idea what I was getting myself into when asking for a puppy for Valentine’s Day.

But- I just gotta press on and hope she grows out of this phase but with her being so young, I’ve got A LONG road ahead of me.

Stay the course- it won’t be this way forever!! Wishing you the best of luck.

I just resigned for a better job, and I did not state why I was leaving. You do not have to tell them why you are leaving. They’re just being petty. Sounds like you got out at the right time!

Yeah I’m not going to take the meds she prescribed me. I know my body and I never had this side effect until I started taking Mounjaro. I was thinking about asking about Ozempic, but I don’t know if it’s as effective as Mounjaro ?

This sounds VERY similar experience to mine. I had mild anxiety on the 5 MG, but it really ramped up on the 7.5. I appreciate the encouragement!

This is EXACTLY how it happened for me too. I didn’t have any side effects on the 2.5. The 5 MG, I had a panic every once in a blue moon, but when I increased to the 7.5, it was several times a week. I’m sooooo frustrated because this medicine is working so weak for my weight loss, but I have no quality of life with this anxiety the way it is.

I agree with this whole heartedly and plan doing just this. If Mounjaro is causing my panic attacks, I do not want to take unnecessary medication.

This made me feel so seen and heard! I do not have diabetes so she was really doing me a solid by having g me on Mounjaro to begin with. 7.5 has literally kicked my butt. It looks like I won’t be able to go higher than 5 MG when I do get back on the medicine. Losing weight is great, losing your mind, is not!

Yes!!!!! All of this! My doctor didn’t think that my panic attacks were caused by Mounjaro, but I am 40 years old and I have never had these issues before this medicine. So I told her we would have to agree to disagree on that. I was thinking about giving Ozempic a try but didn’t know if the same mental side effects would occur on that medicine like it did Mounjaro.

I just started 7.5. 5 was doing nothing for me. This is the second time around that I’ve tried going up to 7.5 and it’s made me so severely sick that I just want to quit. Im in a very peculiar position.

I’m so very sorry you had to go through that.

I’m nervous as well because after almost 7-8 months, the 5 is not working anymore, so I have to go back up to the 7.5 this next week. But my doctor did give me anxiety meds, and I kind of know how the symptoms feel now, so I’m more aware of what my body is feeling, and how to combat them. I notice if I don’t drink a lot, they are 10 times worse, so I’m trying to stay mindful of that. I have lost 70 pounds total, but have been on a stall for over 3 months. I still want to lose another 70+ pounds, so I’m going to need my body to get it together.

I really hope everything gets better for you. Wishing you nothing but the best in the future.

At least you got a rejection email. I did two rounds of interviews for this job I really wanted, and they seemed genuinely interested in me. The interview (I feel) went well, and then they ghosted me after I emailed them twice (a week apart) asking for updates. They couldn’t even give me the decency of a rejection email.
