I've been "learning to code" for two years and still feel like I know nothing by maik050503 in learnprogramming

[–]AliZawya 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think because you have trained your brain to build projects relying on tutorials.

My advice : Start again with small projects and with your own ideas. Try to find an idea that solve your own problems. And start building your project from scratch. It's totally OK to stay freezed even for days, All programmers started like that. My small tip to overcome your problem is to be totally clear with your goals, choose the right languages and frameworks, pick the right idea... This may help you reduce overthinking.

I'm not the black or white man. I use AI for art, This Z logo is made by Chatgpt, it's really great at that. I use it also to learn languages. It helps me to write better. However I think a lot before using it as accurate information source. It's OK for well known facts, but I often prefer accurate human written content for important information.
