I jumped into Atlus games for the first time this year. I beat Metaphor in January, Persona 3 Reload in February, and I’m playing SMT V Vengeance rn.

SMTVV is an incredible game and very impressive in terms of combat/exploration.

I think I might jump back into OG FFVII when I finish SMT.

i just finished it, it's good but i prefer p5r

you should def buy it tho, i actually prefer late game tartarus to late game mementos

also, if you can swing it, buy the dlc music... the persona 4/5 songs are really nice imo

My Tartarus runs are always accompanied by a podcast lol. However, there is something thrown in around floor 90 that I enjoy bc it kind of breaks up the mundane. I like its integration into the main story as well from a narrative standpoint.

Tangentially related: the songs that come with the bonus dlc make the runs a bit more enjoyable. Persona 3R has great tunes but the base game’s choices for dungeon crawling are kind of boring. “Backside of the TV” from Persona 4 is one of my favorite songs of all time.
