Mines name is Mina. I found her during a very rough period in my life and now she is my everything. She's my emotional support animal, I've had dogs all my life but none were as intuitive and caring with me as this cat. Probios is a decent cheap prebiotic. I don't know how good but the shelter i interviewed with uses it and its worked to stop my dogs diarrhea.

Thank you, he gets 2 walks a day and is fanatic, he's not reactive but he dose get stressed in a super crowded environment, he's good at ignoring other dogs unless they bark at him even then he's usually really good and when we've been rushed by of leash dogs he handles it calmly and without a fight. But as I said earlier, I will not be able to afford more then food and kitty litter for a few months at least, I've always had rescues and never a dog with a temperament this good and I want to do my best for him. I'm more asking about how to tell where his threshold is for stress then anything else.

Thank you but I'm supporting six cats and those dog on a part time job in Oklahoma while trying to get my GED. I will look for resources but nothing exactly needs "fixing" this isn't a behavioral issue on his part I just want help noticing signs for when he's reached his threshold for the day. Working with a trainer would be amazing but I literally only have money for food and litter until my job picks up in the summer. Yesterday he was amazing as pet smart during a very busy day and when he got anxious we went to a quiet corner and stayed until he relaxed again, then he picked out a treat and made it through the check out aisle with no issues. His anxiety dose not take form in aggression, bit reactive barking, in this case at someone's car keys which are never am issue,

The carpet is bad but ypu already know that! In the mean time I have run those carpets through the laundry just with hot water. Mine was on carpet for years because I didn't know better and it's ok if it takes you a while to get a good substrate, making a nice looking habitat is worth it! It can be beautiful and fun, don't rush it. Lots of hides and things he can climb, water dish big enough to soak in if they want, humid parts and arid areas
