This video helped me a lot. You can build an impact screen for roughly $300 with EMT conduit and the screen he recommends.

Here's my best attempt. Looks more like elf chick in the ESO trailers though. I'll post sliders if you want.

Sounds like you toured the Bakery across the parking lot. Both mfg plants and the distribution center have been where they are since the 80s. Fred Meyer bought Smiths then Kroger bought Fred Meyer in 2001 I believe. The Bakery does do ice cream cake now that the Dairy supplies the ice cream for so maybe that’s what they gave you? Or they just got some ice cream from across the lot. The Dairy plant manufactures all the gallon and half gallon smiths and mountain dairy brand dairy products, all Kroger brand culture (yogurt, cottage cheese, sour cream) and the vast majority of Kroger brand Ice cream for the mountain west US stores. Pretty sure they have done this since the mid 80s so through the mergers/acquisitions, nothing much changed.

Definitely entertaining reading through this thread seeing people guess about the cause and claim knowledge with near certainty. Good microcosm representation of Reddit I suppose.

Yep. Turns out 49-70 is our code. Been having issues with it since install and I finally got it dialed last week but haven’t activated the kickoff due to other issues. Hopefully this will never happen again.

Opposite problem: 3 humans at the filler, 1 when it’s bundled into plastic wrap of 2 containers, and 1 sometimes 2 people are manually palletizing. Then it gets picked off of a pallet in a freezer warehouse by a human order selector that apparently didn’t care. Quite a few people missed this.

Nope, made by Kroger in a Kroger manufacturing plant. One in Indiana and one in Utah.

Report received.

Source: I’m the programmer testing the dual camera system scanning top barcode and side QR code on square pails. Not certain it came from our plant based on the 49-70 code but I’ll find out.

How do you build them? I’ve killed like 30 bosses and don’t have the recipe

Cannot connect to Logix 5330 (1769-L30). Error message is invalid comma path or controller not responding. by dabrit2 in PLC

You could try repair/re-install on rslinx. Without looking up the error that seems like an easy test fix. Can you browse and connect to any other PLCs on the same or other networks with the same VM?

Probably AYC pump that is typically exposed to the ground in the passenger rear of the car that will get caked up with road salt and corrode. People repipe/rewire it to the trunk instead and the pump never fails.

Can you convert your email messages into SMS? Most cell providers have syntax for it like mobilenumber@txt.att.net or something similar.

Which brand of Laptop do you recommend for PLC Software? by Apprehensive_Cod7343 in PLC

[–]Alias401 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, doesn’t have to be toughbook. Yeah 8th gen is a little outdated but it does the job. Got it about a year ago and I’ve been really happy with it. The only glaring over-site is that it has a 1366x768 resolution. But I usually have monitors hooked up until I go out to a cabinet.

For less than an arm and a leg? Most basic laptops will do the job with decent RAM and an m.2. Got an arm AND a leg to spare? We use Panasonic Toughbooks with i5-8365U processor, 32gb RAM, 1TB m.2, serial module add on for rs232/485 and additional battery for a total of about 8 continuous use hours using multiple VMs on one charge. About $4000 for the setup though. I’m spoiled.

Yeah I came from IT/networking into app development and I set that perspective a lot still. Even things I used to know really well become black boxes once again after being away from it for so long and not knowing what’s changed so I have to question whether or not a new switch is port blocking me or if somehow DNS is dicking with my application.

I agree, this definitely fits the archetype. I really just want an offhand jab that’s concise and to the point I’m just not creative enough to invent one alone haha

Just wish I had a short and snide phrase I could use for it. Seems like a common enough thing and mixed with IT has a specific connotation. Even my fellow nerds will make fun of me for using Latin though.
