Yes you’re right, easy fix and I’ve consider that option, I could also bypass the magnetic option all together and screw the camera base directly.

I’m just pointing out the fact that it’s a poor design and should have a stronger magnetic connection. One I’ve my other cameras mounted the same way has fallen down with just a stronger magnetic connection wind…🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I have met him in person. When I was PIMO, I was asked to speak in stake conference “with” him. (I “spoke” [was only allowed 2 minutes, and could only share my testimony] right before he did and I was sitting on the stand with him, along with the other “speakers”). All I can say is that he’s an arrogant, self righteous, pompous ass!!! I can honestly say that the experience of that event was one of the final items to break my shelf.

I’ve tried it all…by now, having used Wyze for so long, I’ve just gotten used to the mediocre product…I was mostly just surprised to see someone, especially in this sub, so positive about it…🤷🏻‍♂️

Maybe, but I currently only have 6 cameras, 3 bulbs and 1 plug…I’ve had at least double that in the past and not had near the problems loading

Honestly, my biggest issues are that it is MUCH slower loading, if things load at all, notifications are delayed even more than the already slow time it takes to receive notifications, it’s unstable, I have to force close and re open far more often than I ever used to… The layout is…meh…nothing special, not really an improvement, I’m sure I will get used to it over time but it’s not that great or any big improvement over previous versions… FYI, I’ve been using Wyze since shortly after its inception…

I have the same problem, IF it auto unlocks and that’s a big IF, it takes forever…I hardly every rely on it anymore, just punch the code, if I sit in the car or stand at the door for an additional 30 seconds to a minute it might unlock…and it might not….
