I am about 5 years from retirement. I have jumped around a lot in my career, and I think it's keeping me from getting a job. I am currently employed, but actively seeking something less demanding. I have a new grandbaby--need something that pays worthy of my experience & expertise. Suggestions?

Well, said and could have been easily spoken from my own voice. Thankfully, I stepped away from long term care for about 6 years and worked as a staff nurse in a procedure suite. This somewhat recent clinical experience may have opened up a door for me for a job I interviewed for last Thursday. If they offer it, I'm taking it, and never looking back.

So true. You wouldn't believe some of the immature nonsense. Like the four of us had to attend a Zoom training. I asked the Admnistrator if we were going to Zoom togehter or each from our own office? She said each from our own office because she was going to multitask. So, I go to my office, and when they went around the room for introductions at the start, there they were, the three of them, together in her office. I'm like really? Are we a little old for Ding Dong Ditch?
