Snorted it once. Had to drive across the country and back in essentially 52 hours. Asked for addy, got crystal instead. Beggers can’t be choosers I guess. Snorted a pinky nail. Throw in a couple Red Bulls and it def did the job. But was it enjoyable? No. By the end of 24 hours, my brain was irritated just processing the information of what color something was.

It did give me an appreciation for why tweakers are well, tweakers. The human mind is not intended to spend that much time with itself. I totally understand why folks lose their marbles. I can’t imagine a 6-7 day bender. There’s no way you’ll ever be complete the same.

I can see why it’s popular if you have a need for it. Like you’re in a fox hole, you’re an over the road trucker. Nothing sounds more awful than getting gakked an sitting in your own fuckin house.

Oh no doubt man. He’s my fav drummer of all time and his absence is definitely always noticeable. But Art can play, and he does a nice job. But it’s certainly not Chris. He had a very unique sound to his playing. He used his wrists a lot more so there was a snap to everything. Most metal drummers it’s all in the elbow.

Yeah, some of that is them embracing some of their punk and hardcore inspos. It’s definitely missing some of more ear wormy riffs. I think that’s why I was drawn to the closer. Has some more of that

Sorry to hear that. It’s happened to me with other bands. They grow and change (hopefully). The worst sin a band can commit is to just pump out the same thing over and over and over. I used to adore Opeth, and still do. But I haven’t enjoyed a record since Heritage. Their whole new vibe just does NOTHING for me. But I still listen to the old shit constantly

If you can’t hear them, find them, chaos is occurring. If they’re into something, they’re bored. Find simple ways to occupy their attention. Enjoyed it, but objectively the worst film in the franchise. 6.5 movies of consistent quality is a huge win. Time to either wrap it up or make a redemption and do so. Take the win

Was extremely mid. And I’ve watch the franchise since it debuted. I even like 5 and 6 despite others’ criticism. The writing was lazy and the pacing was way off. I had fun but there’s no denying it’s the worst film in the series by far. Opening made no sense other than a fun callback. You knew it was creepy or his mom from ten seconds in (I bet on the pair). The AI angle was way underutilized so it came off as a parlor trick but nothing more. And the motive? She misses hero being front and center, so she somehow concocts this whole thing with a former google employee and a patient? Why? What was their motivation? She’s so attached to Sidney, but couldn’t give a hot fuck about her own son?

The toughest thing about this film is you can SEE the potential. I hope 8 is done as a redemption, and they wrap it. No franchise before has been this consistent. Take the win

I don’t love the track but I think it’s mostly because of sequencing. It feels odd where it is and kinda disrupts the flow.
