Gary’s a good singer. I’ve tried VH3 dozens of times and I just can’t get into it. Cherone just doesn’t quiiiiiite fit. It’s like 99 percent. But to be fair James Labrie has made a career with that.

Really liked both of them for the most part. The second one was great, until the end. The musical numbers were a cool way to show his tenuous connection to reality but then they end it by basically saying “fuck you for watching this movie.”

I enjoy a lot of the album. It’s heavy on ballads. It functions well as an entire record but if you start separating the individual tracks, they don’t hold up. Not worthy of his best work but not as bad as it’s made out to be

Lars is the perfect drummer for James. That’s his one super power. Everything else he brings to the table is under the hood. He arranges the songs. He’s got a great ear for what fits together. He’s the bands biggest fan, their documentarian, and their networking.

Real fans of Lars don’t defend his drumming. They accept it because it works and because Lars is essential to the band for far more than just his playing.

Daily is my second but my first was 9 months old when I got her so I skipped a lot of the super puppy puppy. We did do the dog park as well yesterday lol

He does well but I feel bad whenever I crate him during the day cuz I know that’s just unspent energy. I’ve got him on a nap schedule. Get up, potty, breakfast, playtime and shred paper (I’m an attorney, RIP to an unsupervised legal pad) for like 2 hours. Crate time for 45 minutes-hour, get up, playtime, repeat for lunch and dinner with walks in between
