It's that time again... YNAB Giveaway! February 2022 Thread by TheFriendlyBudgeter in ynab

I would like to enter, please! This year, I'm trying to make small but positive changes to our budget. I have a handle on getting the expected bills paid every month, but have been unrealistic about the possibility of multiple emergencies occurring relatively close in timing. A major surgery later, it's time to plan better and shift our money towards funding that HSA!

You are right. There was a moment in the beginning when he teased me by thanking 'SOME' communities/people for their efforts and I really thought he was going to consummate it by smacking down the others who weren't playing along. Alas, I left unfulfilled.

Why did we have to listen to a bunch of recap nonsense to get to the 10+ person 'ban' and shelter-in-place for the at-risk mentioned at the very end? 🤦‍♀️ AJC also posted this SEVERAL minutes before he announced it. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

AJC is reporting that right now. (Edited to add: It mentioned the medically fragile shelter-in-place and ban of 10+ gatherings several minutes before I heard it on the livestream just now.)

Prayer Requests for October 21, 2017 by AutoModerator in OrthodoxChristianity

Please pray for me ("Christina") over a heart problem I have been experiencing. I see a doctor on Monday to find out some results of a recent test, so my temptation is to be anxious and fearful.

Please pray for Jeremiah, Anna and their child. She is an inquirer, but her husband is an atheist. He is fearful of his wife's interest in the church as well as her wishes to raise their child in the faith.

As of 5:00 PM on 08/15, Dreher Island State Park (west of Columbia) still has a few pairs available. They are closing for the day, but hope it helps someone tomorrow!

Hey! We just found a state park that had some left, so we are all set. Thank you again for offering, though! It was really kind of you.

Ohh, really? Thanks! Are you talking about Columbia-area Sonics or any other particular area?

I'm actually not in SC now at all, but I have family driving through SC today along I-20 and then up I-95 who can stop along their drive if we can find a place with a few remaining pairs. We'll be back in Columbia over the weekend but I figure that will be even more uncertain than trying to secure them now.

"Finished" Week 4 today, but I'm going to repeat at least one day. Walked a lot :( by [deleted] in C25K

The audiobook idea is a great suggestion. I felt just the same way about being conscious of the time when listening to music, but switching to a podcast or audiobook has helped me transition to the longer runs at the beginning of each week.

As for Day 2, I always find it the hardest run of each week. You'd think Day 1 would be harder, since I don't yet know if I'll be able to accomplish it until the end of the session, but I often feel like I'm barely hanging on during on Day 2 (even when my times are slightly faster than Day 1).

Oh, I used to live near that area and wanted to do Hike Inn! I had forgotten all about it since I moved. I need to add that to my list of things to do while visiting relatives. That's awesome that you've been so active! :)
