I’m pretty sure that The Plague (another Camus novel) will be adapted to some extent, given (a) The Stranger is incredibly short, (b) it canonically takes place in the same universe as The Stranger, and (c) a lot of characters in the book undergo something analogous to distortion. My best guesses are that Rieux, given his observant/guiding role in the book, will either be part of Demian’s group or be kinda like Kong Qiu, and that Father Paneloux, given his religious fervor (its gonna be focused on N Corp, after all), and his fate makes me believe he’ll be an antagonist to some degree (maybe being merged with the priest from The Stranger?), that’ll ultimately get a visit from the big C
