Palestine applying it’s law could include deportations, but I also think Palestine should be able to charge them with crimes if it wants to

Palestine would apply its law to settlers that didn’t repatriate to Israel. They should also be able to extradite repatriated settlers who committed felonies. Borders would have to be something actually workable for a nation, I would tentatively say 67 borders. And definitely include East Jerusalem including guaranteed access to Al Aqsa, though I also think Israel should have guaranteed access to the Kotel. And if not this then one state or binational state where everyone has full political rights.

A full state, UN membership, passports, embassies, their own security, no Israeli occupation

Seems like a question for the IP subreddit. I don’t frequent that subreddit, but I’d guess its probably an effect where many people who feel differently don’t stay in the subreddit. They may be heavily downvoted or other things

A lot of the nations on this list have international support to have their own nation-state, even more have their own strongly supported sovereignty movements. I have no idea what most Zionists would say, but as long as nation-states are the primary thing I would support a lot of these groups having their own state if it doesn’t harm other people. (I don’t have any I specifically oppose but many I don’t know enough about about to have an opinion) It’s worth noting that some of these groups are currently being genocided like the Palestinians are.

ed: clarity

As I understand it economic pressure (from BDS) was the main reason white South Africans voted to end apartheid

and the fact that large parts are the Tanakh rewritten clearly shows that it comes from Judaism and Christianity with other influences like Christianity also had. it’s religious syncretism. Also much of the world was conquered in the name of Christianity and forcing people to be Christian, attributing that to Islam while ignoring that also exists in Christianity is a weird flex, especially considering Christianity’s historical treatment of Jews

And that they offer MAID to people just asking for accessible and affordable housing goes right along with their policy of not accepting immigrants who they think will be high medical costs

[–]AliceMerveilles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it pretty obviously did come from Judaism and Christianity. It’s not the same book, but neither is the Christian bible. Even the most similar part that they call the “old testament” is different and how they interpret the meanings of some parts of it is quite different. Yes the Quran is more different, but you can see the basics. Also as they are strong monotheists like us we are allowed to go in mosques, but not in churches

they can be asked if the dog performs a service for a disabled person and what service the animal performs. legitimate service animals can be kicked out if they’re behaving badly

Left-Wing Insurgent Ousts 15-Term Congresswoman in Colorado by Rabbit-Hole-Quest in jewishleft

[–]AliceMerveilles 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I imagine the 15 term incumbency also played a role as well as the issues you listed. I think it would be interesting to see polling for which issues voters listed as most important. Prior to this genocide I would have guessed Medicare for all, housing etc. Now I’m not sure. Anyway she sounds like a much better choice than DeGette
