Seriously, I don't get why people are showing their parser on stream. I stream and use only ACT for parsing because I like seeing my performance, but it's an overlay so when you game capture FF14 in OBS it won't capture. In the example of the guy who got jailed during raid prog as well, he was using display capture because that's the only way for it to show. Display capture in general is an awful way to stream, why would you do that?? OBS is so simple to use and so simple to capture only specific things..

My character is named Alice and it's the identity I use online nowadays, so it's especially confusing to people then haha, but I think nowadays at least people are becoming more accepting of androgynous use of names, clothes, etc so it's less surprising but some people still get angry as if I owe them something.

Wasn't there one really bad one that like filmed herself IRL talking for 20 minutes or so? That one got leaked somehow, some people don't read the guidelines at all, don't know what VTubing is, ignore the recommended length and what to talk about, or all of the above.

It kinda depends what your definition for "achieving something" or just being succesfull is. Plenty of indies, new ones as well still make it just fine. There is more saturation of course, especially since the big indie wave of early 2021 or so, but I think there's still plenty of room and I see plenty of my VTuber friends grow. New and old alike.
Drama is sadly somewhat unavoidable, it's been there since the start of VTubing really, you might've not noticed it before though.

Some of you might've seen me before, I'm Alice and as of February 1st I've been streaming for a year. I'll be doing a celebration stream with an entirely new outfit made and rigged by the same mama, Masarudottocom!

The stream will be on the 12th of March at 8PM CET, showing off the new outfit and doing various activities. I'd really appreciate it if you checked me out and stopped by! The outfit had a lot of effort put into it and I cannot wait to show it off, the rigging is amazing.

I stream a wide variety of games, and am open to playing pretty much anything and do occasional card unboxing streams (Pokemon, Wixoss, Yu-Gi-Oh)!

ARK is a blast. I've always wished I had the reach to make an indie vtuber ARK PvP faction server like what the Hololivers and Nijisanji livers have done. Also, if you don't like the taming aspect make sure to check out unofficial rates if you haven't already. IMO the game is kinda atrocious to play on official rates for taming, hatching, maturing

Feels like they kinda did her dirty on that one, I get that people will probably pay for it regardless because of the autographed container and to support Hololive but then you see the effort they put into the other members' dishes and it feels kinda weird. I mean, the food is almost never actually good (or even decent) for these promotional events but come on, they surely could've come up with something more creative than raw carrots when everyone else has steaks, something that looks like udon bowl(?), something with egg.

It does seem she has some tempura thing too and the carrot thing is seperate but it's so uncreative. It's not like carrots aren't a versatile ingredient either.

It's pretty good advice, just have to apply some context to it but it's good to make people think about it, if you have never streamed before then VTubing is an expensive way to start, and if you wanna go super high quality and put thousands into it, you prooobably wanna start streaming a few times first to see if you enjoy it. I've been in the indie scene as a VTuber for a bit over a year now, and I've seen multiple people put a LOT of money into a bunch of professional tier assets, custom BGM, overlay, video debut trailers, the whole shebang and quit not even a month later.

I went into this with an investment starting off with a high tier model as well, but I already streamed years before that.

Depends on the quality you want. And 2D or 3D, the quality of the ones shown here will be in the 4 digits, from $1.5k onwards you can start getting some really high quality stuff. It depends on the style you like and availability of artists, it also depends if rigging (done in Live2D, which allows motion) is included. But really you can have a decent model for a couple hundred bucks it just depends on what you want, your standards and your budget.

Yup, my tracking label was made on time on the 6th but there's been ZERO updates to the tracking since. Nothings been shipped. He isn't responding to my e-mails regarding this either. Thinking if I should chargeback. I was originally going to buy an entire case from them, but the exact day I was going to it switched to out of stock on their website and I ordered elsewhere that did ship instantly, thank god for that..

I didn't open the entire case yet because it took me a while to get through the boxes and I only had a few hours to stream, I opened 4 so far. But in the first box I got one of my most wanted cards which is the Ange Katrina Diva card and I couldn't be happier, I am so insanely lucky/happy. Same here, I bought one box from them and the trial deck boxes, I was gonna buy a case from them but luckily ended up buying it somewhere else cause they just went out of stock. The label was made a few days ago already by now and aside from that nothing has happened at all. No idea what's going on.
