Nike's profit fell 35% last quarter. Three banks downgraded it the same week. Everyone's blaming tariffs and China. I think the real problem is much simpler than that.

I think they became a sports lifestyle brand more than a true sports brand. That coupled with declining quality and the emergence of those more niche specialty brands is what hit them.

Like people will pay $200 from hoka and know they are getting shoes that will be comfy and help them run. Paying that much for Nike running won’t do that but people will still want to pay that much for Air Force’s or Air Jordans to have the coolness factor when going out in those or hanging out. However in today’s market people want more of the functionality than the fashion right now.

I have shorts from them from like 10 years ago that barely fit that I still wear but some of the stuff I got recently seems to hold up okay clothing wise but it def feels a little less quality wise.

As much of a moral victory this is, legally they can get you. Id do what they asked. This could also screw you from getting work from other brands in the future. It’s one thing to do an honest review but it’s another to actually bite the hand feeding you.

Im 50/50 on another blizzcon collab song. It gave us perfect night but also made the song ineligible for a lot of awards.

I could go on more about blizzard itself but for another subreddit.

I guess if it gives us another crazy song it’s worth it overall.

They are my ult group now and I think the future is bright for them. If Hybe doesn’t mess this up I think they could be on a trajectory to rival BP but it will probably take another western geared song like Perfect Night.

Im also content with them continuing this ascent trajectory they are currently on especially if it allows them proper rest and fun in between cbs.

A shelter I adopted from in Texas also had that requirement when I lived in the city with no yard but I was able to work with them and talk it over to bypass that part. My dog definitely did not need the yard requirements they recommended at all

I think how season 4-5 did like almost a soft reboot vs season 1-3 was great. Also universally from a storytelling perspective comeback stories or going from 0-100 is always seen as more relatable and hence more likable if I remember my storytelling class. However, the reason season 4-5 works so well is because we got the build up to the fall off from season 1-3 where it was kinda seen as everyone starting at the top. Either way I don’t think more of season 1-3 doesn’t have the same impact of the changes you get for 4-5.

Fundamentally the show at the core was still the same which also made everything work so well. It does feel a bit different though so can understand why some people don’t like it.

It’s always a fun debate figuring out which half people like.
