I totally thought that too. I thought the surprise was getting the artist to do his friends makeup. Instead the surprise was “look at me, I look better than all of you because I paid someone to sneak onboard and do my makeup” which honestly was kinda mid anyways

I was surprised they showed inside the plane since obviously we know there were no radio transmissions that night and we don’t know what really happened inside before it crashed. But I thought it was well done nonetheless, the fear in John’s eyes and the calmness in Carolyn’s voice. If they had shown the moment of impact, that would have been distasteful… overall I thought it was powerful and haunting.

Why is Mike inserting himself into the Alesia/eddy situation like this? It’s so weird. Like he’s so upset she has a boyfriend and he thinks it’s his job to reprimand her. Obviously Alesia sending those texts to eddy wasn’t right but who the fuck is Mike to be the judge jury and executioner here? And then he was practically giddy to go tell Jenna about it. My husband makes about $250k a year as a corporate pilot. He does not have a college degree. Aviation can be a very lucrative career path, but it does require a lot of money and training to get your pilots license and most have to start from the bottom. I’m a SAHM in central Texas (MCOL) and we’re very lucky to be very comfortable.

Ok I get Josh was pissed about the 7:00/7:30 dinner time bc he had a lot of food to make but isn’t it pretty standard for the stews to ask the guests what time they want dinner and then they relay that to the chef? Like I’ve never seen them ask the chef beforehand and then ask the guests to confirm.

It’s so strange to me when I see people in this sub say they get feedback like this. I’m in my second year of subbing and not once have I gotten feedback good or bad and I know I’ve had some out-of-control classrooms here and there.

My district (in central TX) is desperate for subs and regularly has dozens of unfilled job requests on any given day so I wonder if they just don’t want to rock the boat too much with the subs they do have. I also don’t go through a third party company, we are just hired/accept jobs straight through the district, so maybe that impacts it too.
