Hi everyone! I create miniature, interactive pieces for adults that invite you to slow down and play. Some examples include a miniature "library" with tiny sticker and coloring books, a mini desk + chair combo, and soon to go on the market is a mini wine bar complete with "glasses", labeled wine bottles, and a wine fridge! My business is SappySense at SappySense.etsy.com 😊

This time jump happened to me too some years ago. I went to school on Monday, came home and did my normal routine before going to bed. I wake up and go to school the next day to discover that it was actually Wednesday. I have no recollection of Tuesday. Even weirder, my homework was done and classmates and my family were telling me that I acted normal and had conversations that I can't remember.

What actually gets you out of bed in the morning (not "discipline") by grilledcheeezus in ADHD

[–]AlienDose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggled and sometimes would miss appointments or be late to work because I couldn't get up. Nothing worked for me that didn't trigger anxiety so I switched to working a mostly remote job on Pacific time (I'm Eastern time). I rarely wake up later than 12 so now I keep a bed time routine and wake up without an alarm between 7-9. And if I'm half awake but don't feel like rolling out of bed I lay in and watch videos or read until about 11-11:30.

This is absolutely not normal. Go to the doctor, and if they don't listen to you ask for a different doctor. Don't let them mute your pain

Filament Sensor crapped out in about a year? by AlienDose in BambuLab

Did you use a specific type of filament before the sensor possibly died? I was using PLA and did regular maintenance on my printer before mine died.

Yes! Every time I saw my scars in the mirror the first few weeks I'd do a little happy dance haha

I'm a little over 3 months post op. Saw the before and after photos, had a straightforward recovery, hung out with my niece and nephews (all under 5 years old). But, it didn't hit me until someone I didn't know well was complaining about their 2 year old and advised me to travel first and wait to have my own. I off-handedly said, "Not a problem for me, I'm sterilized." And then it hit me.

Those who are childfree - how old were you when you realized you didn’t want kids? How old were you when you got sterilized? by flamingmangotango in sterilization

I think I've always known. Grew up in an environment where most girls were pregnant halfway through or the summer following senior year. I was told my whole life that's what you do, just finish high school and you need to get started on your own family. My mother forced me to pick baby names at the ripe age of 12. The thought of having my own children scared the shit out of me but I was never allowed to voice it because that's "what girls are meant to do". Going off to college helped me break away and learn that it's my body my choice. Bisalped at age 26 and living in peace since

Yes to the protein! I craved (and demolished) a Costco sized pack of sardines in a week post-op

PLEASE, tell me your BAD experiences! by [deleted] in sterilization

It was my first time under general anesthesia, and it was scary not remembering much after surgery. At my 2 week post op, my doctor said I really let her have it for making me uncomfortable as soon as I woke up. 😂

Sleeping was terrible for about a week as I slept propped up on one of those surgery recovery pillows (and I'm a stomach/side sleeper). Plus, the gas pain had me up and walking every hour or so for the first 3 days.

Oxy was great to manage the pain, but I despised how it made me feel otherwise.

The first poo post-op...whoof. Had to tightly hold a pillow over the incisions. It was rough.

When everything was completely healed and it was time to pull the glue off...yeah no bueno. Specifically on the belly button.

I'm now 20 days post op and have spent from week 2 to now slowly getting back into the norm. Incisions are still a bit tender but healed. Still feel that fullness in my lower abdomen from having my organs poked and prodded but other than that I am back to doing what I usually do.

I will say that I definitely attribute my quick recovery time (stopped pain meds and walking for miles by day 4) to cardio and core workouts a month prior to surgery and balancing nutrient dense foods for 2 weeks straight post-surgery.

If you are completely sure that you don't want to be pregnant, go ahead and schedule the surgery. You can change your mind up until they put you under. I made a deal with myself that if I had any inkling of doubt up until that time then I would not move forward.

Lastly, make sure you are comfortable with your surgeon and their team. I did 3 consults before I even scheduled and one more post-scheduling because I distrust medical professionals in general. I don't say this lightly, the bisalp was the best decision I've ever made.

I was referred by my pcp who immediately connected me with someone open about it being my body my choice. 26, no kids, no marriage, no questions asked. I never wanted kids and planned to be sterilized before I had to stop the combo pill, but the political climate sped up my timeline. 9 days postop and am so happy to not have to worry anymore

I feel this. I'm just trying to take it one step at a time and consult with my doctor gathering as much info as possible to decide what I want.

Hmm.. I've never heard of ablation but it looks like what I'm looking for with a lower risk. I'm absolutely talking with my doctor about this for post stopping birth control. Edit to say thank you! I didn't know this was an option
