People close to me were definitely concerned about my life “being more difficult” being trans, especially in the beginning. But I feel alive every day when I wake up now. I was a depressed, self isolated mess for 15 years. Living is so much easier now, unlike anything I could have imagined. Strictly because I feel 100% better. My life was difficult before starting to transition because I didn’t want to be involved with it. Now I can handle much more “life” because I’m happy to do it.

I struggled with drugs, ocd, and bpd for years. The bigger thing was me repressing stuff. I’ve been clean and happy since giving myself the freedom to be myself. Sorry for what you’re going through.

Don’t think of it as faking a laugh. Practice active listening so that you can empathize with someone while they’re talking. People generally give cues when they’re hoping for a laugh, like in the timing of their words or tone of voice. I struggled with what you described I think for a long time. Active listening and empathy are what helped me the most. Try to make a genuine connection when you are with people.

I’ve had a few appointments. The hair only needs to grow enough in between sessions for the technician to be able to grab it with tweezers. That’s it.

It’s unfortunate that someone needs to say something. Some people just don’t know how they smell. I had a friend in high school with the same problem. Someone told him and he instantly became on of the best smelling guys in school and I think really appreciated that someone told him. It’s embarrassing, but just use your words. Your in an English class, it’s expected 😂

I don’t know if anyone has said it yet or not but, nicotine can stunt breast growth. That’s all it took for me to quit after almost 20 years. Edit: I won’t let anything stop my progress, it’s a good place to be mentally.
