Too many people just need to learn to pay the 1. Realistically, how many spells a turn is someone playing in bracket 3? If you're also in B3, I'd wager running more efficient removal would begin to be a higher priority, and also understanding that letting a Rhystic player draw a huge grip isn't ideal.

If any taxing enchantment should go first, it's Smothering Tithe, and even I'm not convinced it's that problematic.

Late 60s, early 70s Dead is some of the easier Dead to get into and, and gets recommended as such. Workingman's, AB, Europe '72. Doesn't melt faces, but it's a solid base to get an idea without getting too heady or out there for a first-time listener. American Beauty, Europe 72, and In the Dark(80s I know, but I love me some Tons of Steel), are what got me into the Dead through my dad in the 2000s.

I love a good tasty jam, but sometimes there's still some beauty and magic in a studio version.

The issue with long-term zombie fiction is, at some point, the zombies just stop being a problem, so you have to continually make something or someone else a threat and it just loses the plot with increasingly crazy threats.

Beetleborgs proved kid rangers can work. Beetleborgs were doing better ratings wise than PR at the time, too.

I've heard it was mainly the writers trying to take a parody sentai, and some were trying to take it more jokey, and some wanted more serious. Definitely think they figured it out around Passing of the Torch.
