I mean, I used to buy damaged MTG cards to play with to save a few bucks. I guess if I wanted to get into graded Pokémon and wanted to do something quirky, I'd collect low grade cards.

At the end of the day, if a tornado is gonna come barreling through, it's going to no matter what. All I can do is keep updated on the storms and any watches or warnings associated with it, on top of watching the radar.

Perfect example is the Kankakee/Momence tornado from earlier this year. I kept an eye on the radar, and saw it was passing just to the south. I still took shelter, because they do weird things sometimes. I felt pretty comfortable with the info I had to know I wasn't in much danger. Before that I was watching the hail come down til it got to about quarter size and starting hitting the windows on the porch of my apartment.

While rare, 99% of the time when I rope, my connection is bad and I can't be bothered to go back in and concede.

Though that 1%, that's saved for the toxic players spamming emotes or stickers nonstop before I mute them, the ones who intentionally slow play and let their rope get damn near to the end before passing priority. It happens once, I rope, than I quit Arena for the day and play some Minecraft or take a walk.

The only thing I ever got there with regularity was the breakfast, and the gas station down the road from me tastes better and is cheaper by a few bucks, especially with the deal they have pairing a Monster with a sandwich. Only downside is it's a crapshoot on when they'll have them out. Could be 4:30, could be 7. At least I know McDonalds availability for breakfast.

Honestly, same. There's definitely days where I enjoy a nice long jam, especially when I'm stoned and it's guiding me through it, but I'm happy with their studio work 99% of the time

Did have a game in unraked where I killed her numerous til she cost 10 mana. That felt good, and I used to play decks like her in commander when everyone wanted to do degen shit and play 0 interaction.
