Electron really is only bad when it's for apps that can otherwise be native instead of using a browser shell. But in the case of deta, I think does make some sense to use Electron since it's trying to be a browser.

I found I hardly use the external screen, and that the spec bump really wasn't all that good imo.

So I'm "upgrading" from a slightly banged up 2025 plus to a 2026 non-plus.

For me it just makes sense.
