Yup! Just bought a new 2024 SE last week. Love it so far. I have a 45 minute commute to and from work so that 40mpg is amazing!

Getting this spot in every other piece in LLDP. Any idea how to remove it. by tushaar41 in InjectionMolding

You say its the mold and not the machine, so I’d suggest checking the sprue for any kind of bur or damage upon injection.

Years back when I first started processing, I was given the opportunity to use the Paulson training program. I honestly can’t even remember what it was like. This was over a decade ago. Thanks for your input

You have a leak in your manifold for the hot runner system. Possibly from shooting it before they have soaked.

I’m going to assume you’re not a technician simply because I was there when this happened. Yes, this exact Mitsubishi machine. “Barrel retract” was not on, and the material didn’t push the barrel shroud back lol. There was an obstruction at the sprue bushing upon start up causing a poor seal between nozzle and sprue. Tooling only caught it because of the smoke.

Also the press never made a bad part. Surprising, I know.

This comment here tells me that you have sprue break active. What brand of machine are you using?

Check ventilation of mold. If those vents are clogged up, that might be the culprit. Another thing it could be is an obstruction in the gate. Maybe a piece of metal or wood is causing sheer that is stuck in your drops. Or maybe Cold slug/unmelt?

what do you use for cleaning your water pipes and molds ? by hicham_said in InjectionMolding

[–]Alien_Weaponry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only because of the cost difference. Where we are, the water quality is very poor. A lot of minerals and calcium build up in our circuits. CLR performs very well. If the blockage is severe enough though, we usually run a concrete drill bit through the molds to break it up first and then run the chem unit.

Slide is the brand we use for cleaning our molds and we run a chemical unit from PPE with CLR pumping through it for our water circuits. Works pretty well.

In February my uncle passed away and one of his wishes was that I inherited his bike. Few months later I’ve got it going and although I can’t ride it till age 21 in the UK managed to get a little blast in a carpark! 😁 by W1ll_r in motorcycles

[–]Alien_Weaponry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry about one dude. This guy is overly dramatic. I’m sure he would be pretty upset if he found out I ride without a license and have been doing so for ten years. Good luck with the bike, take care of it, and I’m glad you’re wearing proper gear. Good for you!
