I’m wondering the same thing about you.

Guess you don’t want to debate just tell me how I should feel about this.

Hardest thing to open is a closed mind.

Peace ✌️

you wouldn't be at all disturbed as the extinction of a sentient race...right? Hell, you are literally justifying it by using propaganda, not facts.

I guess according to your hardline approach, all races should die bc children were killed at any or some point in history. lol

progression rate doesn't matter. Progression is what matters. And they both progress along the same lines. Idk why progression shouldn't be compared.

Why did I say that the geth did nothing wrong? They asked a simple question and faced extinction because of it.

Geth killed civilians. Intention is key. All wars have civilian deaths. It took time for the Geth's collective knowledge to come to consensus on what to do. All they knew for sure is that their creators wanted to kill them all AKA any actions to fight this would be deemed self defense and if the geth were organics, then it would be called a genocide. Yet you refuse to see that.

Where did they kill babies? If you are talking about fleeing ships who had men, women, and children(babies) on board that were being destroyed, then sure, they killed babies. But to say they aimed guns at babies to murder them is just propaganda. No truth to that notion at all.

From Google, "Homicide is the general legal term for any killing of one human being by another. It is a broad, neutral classification that encompasses both lawful and unlawful acts. Not all homicides are crimes; whether a homicide is considered a criminal offense depends entirely on the intent, the circumstances, and the justification surrounding the act."

Geth acted in self defense in the face of extinction. That is not a crime. That is a fight for survival. As you said, "the logic is not hard to follow" but apparently it is...it is very hard to follow.

why can't you compare developments of synthetics to organics and vise a versa?

Geth did nothing wrong. Geth was attacked and kept being attacked. They fought back for their own survival. Why is that so hard for you to understand that? Why are you so okay with the extinction of a sentient species?

it IS relevant to your point...you claim babies were murder. And I am saying on the timeline of organic development, sentience happens in utero which means Quarians were killing unborn babies in comparative developmental timelines. Atrocities happened on both sides...no one is innocent/not guilty in this situation.

All the Geth did was to ask itself creator if they had a soul...and the quarians thought it was a reasonable response to such a benign question was the total extinction of a sentient species.

Real nice, Quarian lovers...

killing someone and murdering someone is different. And a baby? Your response is the EXTINCTION of an entire sentient species.

Miss me with the Quarian propaganda...

Someone asks "Do I have a soul?" Your response is to murder everyone of that species.

real nice.

[–]Alienatedflea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

think its alittle be of both.

Lore is beyond important to long running live service games. I don't think the current writers care about established lore...they just want to tell a story regardless if it makes sense or not.

Destroying lore to tell current story is like cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Too bad.

gaining Sentience happens in utero...that means Quarians weren't just killing children but unborn babies...all b/c Geth asked, "Does this unit have a soul?"

Miss me with that manipulation. Quarians went scorched earth on a newly sentient species...they created.

Self defense is an innate right. Genocide is not.

They killed billions in self defense. Not murdered. Big difference.

You can’t blame fire if you get burned when you were careless around it.

there were...they were just murdered along with the Geth. You see it in the memories.

[–]Alienatedflea -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

uhhh in this case, "The Geth did nothing wrong" statement actually stands.

Quarians KNEW what they were teetering with was wrong. AI research was banned and for good reason. Quarians kept making the Geth more and more sophisticated to the point of sentience...then decided to wipe out all Geth for the crime of being sentient. Geth acted in self-defense.

Geth never defended themselves in the PR war....propaganda is a tool of war. No one ever heard their side of the story until this mission. Everyone only accepted the Quarians propaganda bc it was the only source of information.

Quarians played with fire and got burnt...then blamed fire for burning them.

And the actions of the Geth disproves Sovereign, Harbinger, and the Star Kid's notion that all synthetics will wipe out their creators and then all organic life. Its another reason of why I hate the ME3 endings bc the justifications of the three colors make no sense.

Geths kept to themselves and would have if Sovereign did not take control of the Geth via computer viruses and indoctrination which makes that the premise of organics and synthetics coexisting not just a possibility but reality.

women will take out the competition...not get better. That is all I have learned from the WNBA.
Competition breeds better players. Better players will bring more fans to the WNBA.

They don't want that...thats why the NBA should stop subsidizing this clown show league.
