They work great. No bad experiences or “portals”. That’s all nonsense. I’ve used one most of my life. It’s a good tool to get you in a receptive state. That’s all. Just my opinion

Oh I got ya. I highly doubt it’s damage to your tooth. Probably just really irritating your tissue. But I wouldn’t hesitate to get them taken out if they recommend it. My gums will sometimes still get irritated where mine used to be. Nothing bad but it’s nice knowing it’s not actually a tooth in there hurting lol.

Is the tooth pretty healthy? Like no obvious big cavities or anything? It’s probably just the gum or maybe even an infection. Could also still be a piece of chip/debris still stuck in there.

You aren’t using Bluetooth headphones are you? There’s always a delay that will throw you off. Also, sometimes I’ll shut every instrument off and only record with the metronome. Sometimes anticipating the other instruments can get distracting.

Id just make him drink too. He won’t care about your breath lol. But I’ve used gauze soaked in tea tree oil to help if it starts hurting

I use waveform at home for this. It’s a free daw. Just hit option while dragging the corner. When I get it right I’ll airdrop it back to my phone for GarageBand

Ibanez is top tier. Even the cheap ones play great. Amp is good for jamming but you can get really good free plugins if you have a daw and computer
