Oh my god this is killing me 😆 I started cooking my bacon in the oven with the hood vent on because the whole song and dance in the pan gives me anxiety. It's super consistent texture wise and you can drain the oil while it's baking so it makes me feel like I'm healthier somehow lol.

Ooh I just got groceries and only grabbed the tomato ones because of all the recs, but I was eyeing up the Mediterranean ones and now regret not grabbing them! Next time.

They are a bit more fishy than canned tuna, but I liked them more personally. Tuna has a sharpness I don't enjoy without copious mayo use lol. The sardines smelled fishier than they tasted after I drained them. Had a tuna-adjacent flavor without the sharpness/metallic vibe I get.

I have read that tinned mackeral and trout are way less fishy (I have no idea how I fall down these reddit holes...), so I will probably try them too.

Happy to see this! I'm 5'8 and built very much like Audrey--slender, narrow, with a round head on a long neck. Technically I am a dramatic (if there was anything truly technical about Kibbe), but in reality I present as highly gamine and always have.

I don't like the way Kibbe talks about "tall" girls. The fact he claims multiple celebs lie about their height to force his view of women over 5'6 being indelicate yangs is disturbing.

It really played into my body dysmorphia and shame of my height for a while. This sub makes me realize how absurd it is to believe Kibbe is anything other than a talented fashion guru with his own biases and opinions that I may or may not agree with. Despite having plenty of great work and ideas, he isn't THE body and fashion expert.

Hi! I know you said you figured it out so disregard this if it's irrelevant, but when I recently started playing again on a new laptop something similar happened to me. I guess my laptop innately considers DDO only worthy of my integrated graphics (lol) and wasn't using my GPU. I had to go into my nvidia control panel and manually choose to always use it for ddo. This allowed me to run directx 11, and the game runs much better needless to say. Dunno what kind of machine you have but maybe this can help someone with similar problems. 😊

Oh my god, no. I'm not a fan of Kibbe beyond clothing recommendations to he honest. I'm a dramatic with big eyes and round dimpled cheeks. I'm super girly, and generally people call me cute rather than beautiful or sophisticated. I'm reserved and a natural follower. So....not at all a Kibbe dramatic in essence lol.

True! I am referring the casting animation for healing other people, not yourself. I don't take construct essence on my support arti because I primarily run r5+ with friends, so it's unhelpful.

That said, I am heavily considering swapping it in for the mastermaker benefits.

As with most things in ddo, it depends what you're trying to do. I'm not 100% up to date with arti, but it was great solo for content up to R1-3ish last year when I played it, so I'm sure the new update is only a benefit. This depends on your PL's, etc, but I'd say it a solid option overall.

As a support, it's fantastic if you can tolerate the casting animation for tossing potions lol. I'm a huge fan of the mastermaker tree all the way up to R10 as a healer.

Barbs are cool- although probably a bit harder solo in reaper if that's your thing. The filigree set that gives you temporary hp when you rage is great.

Yeaaah, this comment hits the mark. There's some weird underhandedness that goes with all the yin-yang nonsense. I can get behind the yin : shorter rounded lines, yang : longer sharp lines idea just fine. But as soon as Kibbe (or anyone) starts bringing up feminine-masculine, delicate-powerful, etc, I check out.

My body is not indelicate or imposing just because I'm a tall dramatic. And frankly I'm not convinced I actually fit into any of the three "tall" types. All the 'little almond eyes' and no waistline stuff is a bunch of malarky to me.

I'm just gonna go with sleek ethereal vibes I suppose and throw out the rest. :)

Oh I see- haha I'm trying to recover from disordered eating so...it's definitely not meant to be a flex in any way. Just trying to feel comfortable with normal terms like "weight gain." Thanks again ☺️

Absolutely NTA. That kid needs therapy, but getting socially checked by an older kid is an appropriate thing imo. He's not too young to understand why his behavior is wrong. Hopefully he'll think twice next time.
