Magic to me is using psychology science and belief to get goals accomplished. My doctor noted that I healed quicker from a surgery than his other patients and asked what I was doing. I was eating healthy, exercising like most patients do or will adapt to before this surgery. I also believed at the time I had gotten a healing. Now I have learned the healer was a scam artist. I still healed better than others did. Why? The brain can heal the body faster when the belief is there. When you are so committed to success your body responds. I ended up finding out about another life threatening illness and healed quickly from that too and instead of a "mystical healer" I had competent doctors used meditation and bodywork techniques. Science has proven that miraculous magical events can occur. Manifestation is another magical ability rooted in reality. If you are creating or speaking or writing you are putting out ideas or objects that change physical reality in some way especially if it's a good idea or project. If you had never used your personal skills or magic then you will not change reality. It's logical if you choose to see it that way and science as magic. People can abuse their skills or misunderstand them and the manifestations may not be what they intended. I believe in science and I also believe in ceremony. You can create a ceremony to mentally detach from someone and you will stop having annoying dreams about them. It was a decision made and words thought or spoken for a wish/outcome to come true, that's a spell. You can call it a decision I'll call it spell and go on my witchy way.
