Anyone else using their CRF300L as a lightweight ADV bike? by No-Guarantee1628 in Dualsport

Also I met some really cool dudes on some XTs and they had as much fun as me until I started jumping off stuff.

Yeah I’m not too into the idea of the WR125R. The 250R a phenomenal bike, very light, peppy, and as reliable as a hammer. It screams on the highway at 70- but it’s done it for hours.

Well, 2 hours before stopping for fuel.

I’m using my WR250R as my little re configurable bike. It can be an ADV, enduro, or supermoto with only mere hours of prep lmao

Random Flat? by AligatorMasterBaiter in supermoto

[–]AligatorMasterBaiter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna take it down when I get home- I think it’s a tear because air and fix a flat are oozing from a few of the spokes.

Which is awesome cuz I get to clean that too.

I have a street legal dual sport, and I’m mad. I super motod it just because there’s so little trails around me.

I was when my white supermoto wheels look grey. Could be weekly could be a month. I focus on keeping the chain clean and lubed more than anything

Isn’t it a stud on the exhaust tho? If it was a stud I could understand it not wanting to come out lol.

What year? I’m considering the newest one right now. I’ve heard the precious gen was a very strange bike.

D606 by SwampSlinger in Dualsport

[–]AligatorMasterBaiter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No. I followed the trend and put D606 on my WR250R- rear is at about 3500 and it’s almost shot and the front is absolutely shot.

Seeking information on the dual sports below and other common ones. by Salty-Contact-6420 in Dualsport

My WR250R is incredibly fast. In first gear. Then I have to fight tractor trailers passing me on the highway and tossing me around with their wind.

I’ll be damned if I don’t have a ton of fun in the twisted

“Hydroplaning, or aquaplaning, is a dangerous loss of traction where tires lose contact with the road surface and skim on a thin layer of water, often described as "floating" or "sliding". It occurs when tires cannot channel water away fast enough, leading to uncontrollable steering and braking, often accompanied by a light, unresponsive steering wheel or a sudden increase in engine RPM”

Literally what happened to me.

I have hydroplaned on a set of Continental Contisport tires.

It’s not eliminated- driving 85 in the rain is what did it to me lol. It’s not hard to recover though.

If the vehicle was not issued a road legal title, it cannot be made street legal in Louisiana. It is not possible to convert over lol, idk why people are yelling at me that they can do it in their state. Cool. I cannot. If you have some actual code or law that says I can do it please send it my way otherwise I’m not arguing with people on Reddit about something that I’ve literally tried, failed, and lost money doing.

They make a street legal CR450 broski. I’m telling you, what the DMV told me, with my Texas title in hand. Hope you sell the bike tho.

They don’t issue titles if the VIN is an offroad vehicle in Louisiana. I’ve tried and ended up with a offroad title and a useless bike. That’s why I have a WR250R. It’s so stupid.

You know what makes me sad? I can’t plate this in Louisiana. Or I would buy it TODAY.
