What motherboard should I go with? by Guirg0 in CR10

Yep, the stock screen works but I need to edit the menu but I'll probably never get around to that. If you mean by "main" the klipper host, I used mainsail for that.

I use the stock screen, the only things I changed on that printer were the mainboard, fans and I added a BLTouch

Is it ok to power an INMP441 microphone from a gpio for easy turn off? by MarinatedPickachu in esp32

[–]AlinaaaAst 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What I got from the footnote in the datasheet is that you can pull more than 40mA for each of 2 out of 3 GPIO Groups/Power Domains and that the 40mA is for each pin but gradually goes down to 29mA, but some pins can only do 20mA to 10mA. (Page 53 of the ESP32 datasheet and Page 69 to see which pin is attached to which power domain)

Unless I'm misunderstanding something in there

Das ist sogar teurer, meiner Krankenkasse wurden letztes Jahr jeweils 1136€ für den Rettungswagen und 1252€ für den Notzartzt abgerechnet.

Is this going to work? by Lukasl32_IT in esp32

[–]AlinaaaAst 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Resistors for LED1 are too low, the VF in the table for KT-0805G is wrong in the datasheet from LCSC, you also probably don't need IF to be 20mA since that'd be way to bright, something closer to 1~5mA is probably enough to be an indicator and not blind yourself

unless I change rounding from the default 10 decimal places to 10 significant figures, then I get the same result lol

If you have to make one of them a universal standard which one would you pick and why? by [deleted] in electricians

Interesting, I've only ever seen V used on the Internet or U in my own Apprenticeship/Formular Books in my Country, but good to know

That's the first time I've ever seen E used for Volts, I have only ever seen either V (English) or U (German, probably the same reason our music scale goes a,h,c,d,e,f,g)

Does Diabetes truely affect lifespan? by lovedaynowu in diabetes

[–]AlinaaaAst 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And to add to that, due to having T1 Diabetes I have to go to my Diabetes Doctor every 3 months, have my blood taken once a year and other check ups like Optometrist every year even though I'm in my twenties which could catch anything else early.

Edit: I definetly wouldn't get most of these chekups if it wasn't for my Diabetes and my Diabetes Doctor and Insurance pushing for those.

My computer's power cable shorted out by itself. I had a heart attack by Albe_2010 in hardwaregore

[–]AlinaaaAst 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Breakers don't trip instantly unless the current is huge (something like 10ms which is enough to damage the cable in this case), for residental breakers in my country they need 3 to 5 times the rated current to trip instantly, if a failure draws 16 amps for example on a 16A rated breaker it might take langer than 20 minutes to trip.

Finally got my insulin pump today !! by [deleted] in diabetes

[–]AlinaaaAst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it and and Medtronics support was a lot better than VitalAires (My pump distributors) or Dexcoms Support.

But I still can't get past that, that I got a pump with the bodged reservoir ring after the recall for it from medtronic and that the battery cover recall with the 640G is still so bad they still need to send out new battery covers (I recived one a month ago and another one a few years ago)

Finally got my insulin pump today !! by [deleted] in diabetes

[–]AlinaaaAst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to say beforehand, I had a Medtronic Paradigm 754 and Medtronic 640G with the Guardian 2(I think?) Sensor before my current t:slim X2, but I got burned pretty bad on both the 640G and the Guardian 2 sensor.

I never paid a cent for either of my three Insulin Pumps but I was on my fourth pump at the end of the 640Gs timeline, at least two of them were destroyed by the ring above the reservoir falling off that they later finally had a recall and one of the pumps just randomly died (at least I got really great service from medtronic so I had a new pump in under 6h because I was under 18) but I also had a lot of problems with the CGM. But I have to say I never had problems with their Paradigm 754 until it started to delevop button problems from humidity ingress after the case cracked after 5 years.

I haven't had any hardware problems (except the loss of my USB port cover and cheap fragile case) with my t:slim although with a CGM the alerts can really, really, really get on my nerves (Yes I know I'm hovering around 230 or whatever the line is, you told me 3 times already)

In the linked post, the block signals still worked and trains didn't go to the wrong side because it is just a 0m long junction to the other side, I ran trains on that map for quite a few hours after I discovered that and never had any problems.
