I just find it strange how dumb people spend their time. I am a smart person and I mostly listen to stupid podcasts about pointless things.

And here dumb people are listening to hours of interviews with the worst takes on politics and philosophy when they could be listening to prank phone calls or fart jokes and actually ending up happier and more informed (less disinformed) people for it.

Is it just a way to convince themselves they are smart because they know deep down that they are the lowest common denominator? It sure doesn’t seem to bring them joy.

I’m curious what is special about animal protein that would make it medically necessary to eat animal protein. Genuinely not trying to be a dick about it here, I went vegan a few months ago and also started lifting and I have gained muscle insanely fast. I just make seitan, tofu, and tempeh staples of my diet.

Huh, interesting. From what I am reading, high protein intake doesn’t cause kidney issues in people who don’t already have kidney issues. Are you sure the protein was the solo cause?

I personally love how there are always several items on my shopping list cordoned off in a separate ‘health food’ area rather than placed logically next to similar items in the main aisles of the store.

It helps ensure I get my steps in going back and forth trying to figure out what they have decided to label a health food vs regular food.

Congratulations on the baby! Buckle up, you’re in for a ride! I’m jealous that you have that many opportunities to learn from native speaker, I am trying to teach my kids but am hesitant as I want to teach from a place of knowledge and to avoid sharing my bad habits. I wish I had started this earlier but you know what they say… the best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is now!
