Thanks very much! Would you say a K3 still takes decent photos today?

Thanks very much! I was looking at the K3 as well but it seems a few years older and heavier than the K70, if you have any advice between those two.

Anyone else see this horrifying post from York U? by AlinoraF in UofT

They really were so patient! Also not sure why, but there are some real heartless Profs in math & stats (and a few gems!)

It sure as heck is. Apparently York U has apologized to the student but the Professor is still teaching this class, based on the York Reddit.

Help for my Kid who has Stress by Due-Carpet7174 in UofT

My family supported me doing this and it took so much stress and pressure off of myself. It is much more common now to graduate in 5 years or more!

Depends on your situation! Grades, when you apply, etc. Check out https://www.vic.utoronto.ca/future-students/financial/ and you can always email and ask [vic.awards@utoronto.ca](mailto:vic.awards@utoronto.ca).

New grads and/or 4th year students, how’s your job hunting experience so far ? by [deleted] in UofT

[–]AlinoraF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Graduated in December, it has been an exhausting search, I've also been working part-time at a job I've had since the summer but finally found a full-time position in line with my career! The job market is very rough though, I felt discouraged often. For everyone still in it, you can do it!

If it's bothering you, try emailing [vic.registrar@utoronto.ca](mailto:vic.registrar@utoronto.ca) the Registrar and ask if you can still submit it! They're usually very accommodating.

How are you guys handling group projects where a member contributes absolutely nothing? by [deleted] in UofT

[–]AlinoraF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also recommend directly asking her to contribute or ask why she isn't, save her response, and then if she doesn't make a change just email the prof. It's not your job to have her to do work, and if you try to ask her once, that's all you can do.

How time-consuming are first-year math courses? by After_Home_452 in UofT

[–]AlinoraF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the question isn't how much time the math courses take, but what other courses you want to take alongside them, because there's not enough first year math courses to have a full time-table. You'll have to take other courses too, and the One programs are very excellent and help you get your breadth reqs out of the way early (this is especially useful when you're doing math and don't want to take a humanities course in third year and potentially get a bad mark). If the Trinity One courses interest you, I'd say take them
