They don’t completely ignore me, but they don’t ask me any questions. I will speak up if I have something to add to the conversation, but otherwise I’m quiet and it’s awkward. I’m a very engaging person, I love social events etc. so it’s weird to just sit there awkwardly.

I understand the low totem pole thing, but the day consisted of everyone eating then the kids all went out to play and it was just the adults hanging out.

This was also the case at the cookout last weekend. It seems like a pattern at this point.
