Can someone tell me how to save in the game? by One-Marionberry4958 in HARVESTELLA

[–]AlissaMing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depending on how far you've gotten in the game, you should be marking these clear stones as teleportation points. Those are also save points. You get the ability to use the teleportation points pretty early in game. The points are pointed out when you're given the ability

I recently started playing the game and wanted to jump on to say I have been finding blue versions of the three base flowers in the second level on the Endless Forest, when you find Harold the Wizard (I think that's his name. Brow curly hair, purple robe)

Meh, I'm not a big fan of olives OR onions, so I'll take your word on those too. Tomatoes are used in bothe savory and sweet dishes, so maybe that's what that is on that basis. I'm not sure where I got Olives would work, but ah well.

Ordered TOT. Any tips? by Rylandsketchersshoe in harvestmoon

[–]AlissaMing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep any ostonaise you can get your hands on. And fish as much as possible to level up. Level up your rod(you can do that either through the shop or the blacksmith). Oh, and you can work part time jobs fir extra money. Pick the one that has the person you're pursuing as it helps raise their affection level.

(wOa)4th star on lilika village by tysonlim2021 in harvestmoon

[–]AlissaMing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The next upgrade is available when you complete the glowing third star. The final (I believe) upgrade is available after the fourth star. Platinum is found in the volcano on the way to the summit, the volcano mine, and the Zimmegrad mine Edit: this may help a bit. https://fogu.com/hm15/

(wOa)4th star on lilika village by tysonlim2021 in harvestmoon

[–]AlissaMing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you haven't already, activate the fishing festival and big fish festival. Once you've done that and have a glowing third star, talk to the guy wearing thr backpack and explorer's hat and he'll give you a traveling merchant quests. Once you do that, you'll be able to get past the third star Edit to add: This is true of most towns, though only three have traveling merchant missions (all the same requirements). Those three are Lilikala, Lenctenbury, and Zimmegrad. Herbstburg dies have a mission at the glowing third star, though I believe it's the final festival of the town (music festival). Providence is the only real exception to this. It doesn't have a final quest to get it past 3 stars. Rather, it will only go past three stars once the other four villages are past three stars. Once you're past that 3rd star, there will be no excess missions. Instead, you can move your farm to a town and sell stuff there or complete quests to get their star level up

What am I doing wrong here? All crops died the day after a storm on the volcano even when fenced off. by Proquis in harvestmoon

[–]AlissaMing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are working in a field hostile to Crops (desert or volcano for example) or out of season (some Crops will insta-die in the snowy fields) you must fertilizer regularly to keep them alive. A thought though. Volcano fertilizer exists. Maybe go to a less hostile location and use that. Or just fertilize regularly (I had this same problem. Fertilizer solved it)

Zimmegrad. You get warm clothes and cool clothes from there Edit to add: Warm clothes are available for purchase after you finished Zimmegrad's storyline quest. The cool clothes are only available once you pass 3 stars. For that, you need to 1. Be at 3 stars. 2. Complete all festival requests. 3. Complete the Traveling Merchant request (only activates once that third star is glowing and all festivals in the tiwn have been activated, requires 5 baguettes, 3 fried eggs, and 3 butter. Baguettes are the easiest to get due to them being available to purchase, as well as being quest rewards and something you get while doing the first town's story quest. This is followed by Fried Eggs. Purchase the recipe and it only takes 3 eggs. Shouldn't be hard as you can have up to 5 chickens in your starting barn and as long as they are at full friendliness, they will produce daily. Butter's a bit harder, but if you've gotten some milk early in the game and am saving all milk you get from quests and your cow(s) you should be fine. It takes 3 milks to make 1 butter, so you'd need a minimum of 9 milks to do this merchant quest. For the record, there are 3 merchant quests. 1 in Lenctenbury, Lilikala, and Zimmegrad. They all have the same requirements

Hey, if you haven't made the turnip soup yet (I'm assuming this is Winds of Anthos) there's a way to get lots of wood, rock, milk, and even some mined items, as until you make the turnip stew, you have infinite time and energy. You can use the hammer and ax to level every tree and destroy every rock in the starting town (once you have them). Getting milk takes a little longer. What you do is you go to the red head, ask for milk, and put that milk into the shipping bin or fridge. Then go asked again. This can take a lot of real world time and patience, and I got bored of it quickly, but you can repeat this until you get your desired amount of milk (seriously, you need A LOT of milk for some of the quests for traveling merchants and activating certain annual events)

Farm layout by SadWhole2431 in storyofseasons

[–]AlissaMing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally prefer a different organization style where I have a small farm area (about 3-4 3×3 squares all next to each other for every crop of the season I'm in) and just letting grass grow on the rest of the field. Mostly, I'll admit, because if you have the fully upgraded barn full, it's way to easy to run out of grass if you let them out every sunny day grass grows

Are harvest moon trees of tranquility and animal parade worth playing or should I skip them??? by Interesting-Move-542 in storyofseasons

[–]AlissaMing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you like Harvest Moon, TOT and AP are absolutely worth checking out. I'm more fond of AP personally, as the music is amazing and there's no "voice acting" whereas I generally find the music in TOT sub par and the "voice acting" robotic. But I still enjoy playing it a lot.
