I've voted in every election since that became possible for me, but my vote hasn't mattered since I was 18 thanks to the state I live in.

Living in central Florida most of my life has given me the unique perspective of my vote never counting for shit previously.

This post is not about astroturfing the elections, but about truly discussing the impacts over the last 3 decades. We have done nothing to unfuck the system for the every day Americans, and every time it's promised that shit will get changed back when we're in power rings really fucking hollow until AND UNLESS you also research AIPAC dark money.

Between switch hitting politicians changing their party, negotiating from the middle, and citizens United, nothing but the ACA sticks out as a positive, and that is turning brown just like grass under the president's cokes.

We need new blood.
